The first story was good. The music conveyed the atmosphere well and nice twist about the main character who was actually the vampire/monster.

@ Alex: Even if is a bit stupid for someone to read a topic of an anime they didn't saw, you second sentence is a bit spoilerific...

Man, just the expressions of terror alone were enough to get my heart rate up! The rest was utterly CREEPY! This story - #1 - is, by far, my favorite of the two. I don't have complaints about either story.

for god sake, we need more umezu anime! this was a nice ride (of course nothing close to umezu's manga, but what the hell is?) - did a good job reproducing the master's style...........

I actually love this! The animation was so... 80s-90s! :)
Have to admit that the first story was waaay better than the second!

Hard to really take the series seriously. In fact, none of the 80's - 90's horror have terrified me yet iirc, way too comedic compared to modern horror.

Aside from the pretty predictable twists and underwhelming impact, it's nice to see Umezu's stuff in animation.

The poor quality just generally makes this more creepy than modern anime would. I get it's not scary by any means, but the dark colours really deliver an eerie atmosphere. Well, I still preferred the first story over the other one.

A fairly creepy affair, that delivered on it's promises set out by creepy swing guy at the start. Where these two stories really shine is in their uncanny art, excellent atmosphere and decent twist endings. The true horror comes more from thinking about thr implications of the endings then from anything else.

Not a bad watch.

Great stuff! The stories played on tropes but inverted them, especially the first one!

I liked the the story, and the old animation makes it more creepy, especially the terrified expressions, too bad it's not long.

This series was really good. As always, watch in the dark! This series is creepy due to vibes and the expressions on the faces.

I also think that this series right here, was inspiration for whoever was directing and producing the anime of Oniisama E. Because I saw some familiar expressions and imagery with the dolls.
