Poor Burnhart. Didn't have a chance, plus his proposal o_o;

Oh snap, Excel made a pact with Mikami?! *thinks their relationship is gonna get deep, j/k* >.>;

Yeah. :-( This episode was kind of meh, though. I'm also not really a fan of the new ED, even though it better fits the new OP, I liked the music and character actions better in the first one. This episode just kind of lagged a bit, but we got to see just how far Keita and Kuro's new form of synchro can go, and it looks like Keita has become an expert strategist. (First knocking down the ceiling with his Thousand, and now destroying the other Thousand.) This was basically a story episode though, why the Doppeliner System, where is Reishin, and what are they going to do? It was interesting, but kind of weird, especially with that historian Tera Guardian. We shall see where it goes with Reishin though.

When Excel showed up at the end, I was like "Evangeline?" I guess that's what I get from watching too much Negima.

It was a fairly decent episode to me with the curse or whatnot. I'm glad to see that Giga Exe was used again and not some kind of last resort. I'm interested what happens in the next episode though.

Poor PuniPuni though...

I quite liked this episode, we finally now understand the history of the world and the beings. I also enjoyed the action including the new more badass reishin. The new landscapes are quite appealing too. Also interesting to see excel form a contract with that girl. Always quite liked excel, good to see her back.

My only complaint with this episode was the stupid comedy earlier on in the episode, i hate when shows try to mix comedy into dramatic scenes :/. Kurokami shouldn't even have comedy in the first place.

Very interesting episode. Talks about how doppleliner system is created. Lots more action from Mototsumitama wanting the power of Masagami. Ex-Noble One members got their ass kicked by Reishin. Nice to see Excel back with a partner.

I found the whole explanation about Masagami a bit too.. in my face? Like they were saying "okay so we don't have time to unfold the last arc, let's just introduce some new character who will explain everything under 5 minutes... while eating stuff".

The gravity thousand wasn't a bad idea though. If they'd introduced stuff like that 10 episodes earlier I might have enjoyed the show.

The show seems to be going downhill again... I'll have to start the manga soon since I've heard it is a huge step up form the anime adaption.

Finally theres some explaination to how the Dopperliner system and contractees come about. I was pleasantly surprisd by that. I didn't think they'd bother to explain, I figured it'd be just because. So now I guess they're gonna drag out these fights and save Reishin for last.

This is really getting boring in terms of story IMO

but the fighting scenes never gets old

Also is it me or is Kuro and Keita are getting a little too strong?

it's a lot better than seeing them getting their ass kicked all the time like earlier. Also they are meant to be much stronger now because of the way they connect. I personally like them they way they are now rather than earlier. (I'm sure most will agree)

Average episode. The doppeliner system and the whole idea of the show is much clearer now. The fight was lame with red-haired guy not finishing Kuro and Keita right off in the Gravi-doom field, but waiting for them to get used to the pressure, which resulted Kuro and Keita's predictable victory.

Of course for the sake of plot protagnosits have to win their every important fight, but I really don't like the way many shows execute it through plain stupidity of antagonists.

Not a bad episode since Excel is back, and Nam is cute.

But, did anyone realise how many elements from other animes this episode incorporated? Lets see, the bookman from D.gray-man, energy blasts from Dragonball, gravity training from Dragonball yet again, and finally that gravity power from Gash bell... Wow they probably needed some stuff to fill in the last few episodes so they made a nice montage 0.0

i totally agree with this. the first episodes just full of failure and it kinda got on my nerves.
i thought this ep. was pretty good. i'm glad Excel is back. :) i'm happy the history was cleared up and the whole plot line is kinda wrapping up because it was getting kinda dragged on.

That fight was pointless, but Nam is cute and she made up for it. And Excel and Mikami at the end! :D

Kuro's battle seemed to be unnecessarily thrown in there, but finally we get some really juicy back story to the plot. It was cool learning about how the terra guardians and their contracties came to be.

Watching this episode after forgetting about the anime for nearly a year, so I guess I am out of touch.

Was a decent episode, glad to find out why the doppeliner system exists now!

Not this red haired bitch again. I was hoping she would stop appearing after the kidnapping episode.

Namu is neutral in the conflicts here, it seems. Her only goal is to record history. The environments of the Pure Land are stunning as well, and one of the better displays of scenery in the anime.
