| My gawd. Terrible. It was hard to watch. They followed the novel closely but, the animation was below average. With episodes 4 finishing volume 1 of the novel, I have a bad feeling the sales won't be that good because the first four volumes are just introductory arcs. It's hard to believe how Kamito is already caring for Claire even thought they just met not long ago. Its hard to make sense. Plus, she reminds me of another violent tsundere who wants the MC to be her slave. I don't know long can I bear to watch this. I should have drop it sooner but I'm still watching it for Restia and Est. |

| An average episode with Claire who is fighting alone against a spirit during the tournament Kamito who agrees to become the esclavge of tsundere and start repeating several times "Restia" since it arrived and no longer takes into account the situation , Claire kisses to wake up so that a good punch would have been enough .... I hope the level will go up in future episodes though I doubt it ... |
| Still wish the animation was better this is the first anime I'm watching after reading the LN and I can now understand people who get annoyed about adaptations of LNs being shitty. The kiss was done well tho <3 And next episode will be an epic ecchi scene with Est I can't wait to see that animated. Est is so adorable :3 |
| I really, really get sick of the 'main character accidentally finds himself in an ecchi situation and the girls beat the crap out of him' gag. Unfortunately that seems to be the only joke that anime producers understand and are capable of telling, so it's in EVERY FREAKING ANIME. Other than that insanely overused and lame gag, pretty decent episode. I really wanna know if Kamelto was gender-bent from when he was Ren Ashbell or if he was just cross-dressing. Est has some pretty nice tits for a loli, I noticed this episode. I wouldn't be complaining if I woke up to her naked in my bed, other than the potential for stupid, overdone misunderstanding gags. I'll stick with it for now, but considering it seems to have exactly one joke in its arsenal I may drop it later on. |

| The story was pretty decent and the pacing was alright. I personally thought things developed a bit quickly though. I have one major gripe with the animation. I'll just go out and say that it was pretty poorly done. Firstly, all the talking scenes between characters somehow freezes the backgrounds for some reason, it's like nothing moves during their monologues, which makes it less exciting than it should be. Secondly, that scene where Restia drops the Military Spirit down on them was done really poorly. one second it's dropping and their standing there, next second the thing is on the ground and Claire and Kamito are on the ground not 1 meter away from it. Dropping a huge monster like that should have had more impact, both on the scenery and on the people there. The force of the drop would have pushed Claire and Kamito off screen if they wanted to make things a bit more "action-y". The way that scene was set up, made it a bit boring to say the least. Overall, I felt the animation quality for this episode wasn't quite there. The transition shots could have been done better, and they definitely could have made it more exciting with billowing clouds of dust and more destruction all over the place in the fight. instead I felt like I was watching a 90's animation fight, you know the ones that the MC swings a sword and bam the bad guy falls over dumbly? It just lacked impact for me. It was like they couldn't quite set the tone for each scene. Story-wise I do like it, I'm enjoying how they aren't really cutting much out of the original storyline, and the pacing is kinda fast too. We'll get to learn a bit more about the Est and Restia soon. Hopefully the next episode won't disappoint as much. |

| There's something about this anime that just makes it - not as good as it could be. The pacing is a bit too fast and dialogue is pretty cliché. The animations in fighting scenes are simple but put together in a way that works. The characters are very straight forward, with one objective, like a robot. They don't have any qualities that make them stand out from the crowd. On the other hand, the character designs are great.The OP and ED are good, though some sound effects were a bit out of place (like when Claire fell on the ground after someone chucked a rock at her, that sick bastard). |
| Loved the kiss! And Claire too. She's just too cute sometimes <3. It was also pretty nice to see that talk with Kamito. Looking forward to seeing more of Restia as well and Fianna too. I am really liking the soundtrack here. |

| Errr, Kamito, is travesting that fun..? Restia is 2spooky4me Est got her own magical girl sword transformation! And she even keep her sock while doing it! Also, she sound so much like Chino from ''Is the order a rabbit?'' x) I must say that the fighting so far is a bit lame. There is not much happening and they are so short. |

| I thought Scareto really died. For some reason that kiss didn't have an impact on me. *sigh* I wish anyone except her and Est have been the main heroine. Fuck this shit Japan what's with you and infant-looking flat-chested chicks? sick as fuck. Seriously though so far Kamito aka. Ren Ashbell is the only real blade dancer here.. others are using their contracted spirits to fight.. like pokemons lmao. |

| I seriously hate this kind of relationship between a tsundere heroine and the MC: you are my slave/servant/contracted spirit! It's so annoying if it doesn't have a genuine reason! Aside this it was a pretty enjoyable episode. I like that Restia appears more often. It also seems a new heroine will join the party. |

| I'm getting reeeally frustrated with this series. I'm enjoying the setting to some extent and the characters, but I can't handle this tsundere heroine. Does she have any positive traits? These storylines are frustrating me to no end. The MC+tsundere dynamic must be the most uninteresting storyline that exists. |
| So, let me get this straight: even though it was the Fire Spirit King who caused all the destruction and chaos cos "the Calamity Queen" betrayed him and stole something, everyone blames her. Sure, she caused the Spirit King to go on the rampage, but no one is pissed at the Spirit King for being so petulant as to set the land ablaze because of what she did? Granted, that's the least of this show's many, many issues, but it's something that stood out to me among the mire of typical crappy anime cliches that you always get in shows like this. |
