And once again, we see Sakamoto without his clothes on. Nothing surprising there. His burning desire to reach the top is still there and alive. Dat onsen though. |

| One of the best bath episodes, best part was before their performance. The song was good but it was lacking hard core animation, could have been better. I'm still liking this show a whole lot. |

| This anime makes like zero sense whatsoever, but I find it oddly amusing. Especially the way that they practically plan to just go around crashing Shinsengumi concerts like it means nothing, the fact that they know absolutely no songs, spend no time practicing, and basically just ram on random guitar chords. It reminds me of Bill and Ted's excellent adventure and the Wyld Stallyns lul I'm still in love with Taniyama-sama's voice. He has such a unique, passionate style of singing. Here he's playing a silly character, but you get glimpses of the kind of stuff he sung as Natsuki from Utapri~ awesome stuff. |
| Lol omg this show ... so many naked people >///< Can't believe they thought Katsura was worried about "that" ... turns out he has no need to right? Lol XD They end up putting on the show at the bath house ... even in a show like this we have our obligatory bath episode eh :P Does Shinsaku really practice with his gloves on?! Like wtf LOL XD Oh well, he has a good singing voice! I quite liked the song they played this time :D It's good that Katsura stopped worrying ... pretty easy for him to just put his feelings into the music lol. I'm guessing he'll probably get a Peace Soul thingy soon anyway :O |
| The best ep so far I think. Some comedy and a nice song. Cindy's vocals were good. Glad I haven't dropped it. |

| I like Katsura so I'm glad things worked out. It was pretty hilarious when they were all ready to fight naked though. :P I'm good with funny fanservice even if everything else is pure crack. Or is that why I'm ok with it, haha. |

| 5/5 - A Whole episode dedicated to half naked good looking anime guys! What could be better than that! The music was good this episode and I am so glad I watch this every week! |

| Odd that MAL is always rife with bitching about fanservice, yet the manservice is greeted with either a shrug or a laugh :P Entertaining episode even if you weren't the target demographic for all the naked guys (presumably yaoi fangirls and/or gay guys), and the music is probably the best of the season. Not like there's a whole lot of other musical anime to compare it to this season if you're not into the idol shows. I wanna see more rock-offs with the Shinsengumi! |

I think most male from MAL don't even try this one so... and it's not KyoAni neither... and it's a shoujo's adaptation! it's not like this horrible "Rail Wars" who make you believe it's about train and action and it's all about boobs, ass, and not possible way to fall on each girl boobs... here at least everyone know it's about bishounen... I really love this anime! so funny! good fanservice also! It's not forced in a bad way, but in a really funny way that even guys can watch, I think! And I wanted to see Cindy topping Ryoma hahaha! with that flying towel ^o^ Souji's "Not bad" was sooo goooddd !! This is the best fanservice/comedy ever! ... and some people say Free as too much fanservice... for me just swimsuit guys are not real fanservice! |

Also, there was a lot of hate for this show in the first two episode discussions. Most of them would have dropped it by now. |

| ANOTHER HILARIOUS EPISODE. Bakumatsu Rock never fails to make me laugh. I'm still so happy that I never dropped this. I'm glad the CGI stopped now, but I hope it had more of that hardcore animation stuff? Yeah? And I kept on laughing at Okita. Like when he laughed, it looked like he laughed because he saw Ryoma's yeah. And HONESTLY SENSEI'S THING HAHAHAHAHA. Honestly, it was all so fun. I just can't stop laughing. Especially when they suddenly turned dramatic and shit. Kudos to that shinsengumi guy. Can we hear Sensei next?? Or perhaps OT5 finallyyyyyy?? HAHAHAHA and whoever thought of bath house concert is amazing |

The reason you're not getting it is that they keep referencing/parodying historical events without outright explaining them to you, so unless you know what happened you won't understand what's going on. I would encourage people who have the same problem to read a synopsis about the Meiji Restoration and its main characters (at the very least). The show's probably not that interesting and will appear completely random otherwise. |

| i spent the whole episode thinking about if i saw katsura naked before, because he could be a girl. but he loses his shirt on the very first episode, so... not possible. even my anime is not free of dick jokes, but it was funny, actually. |
