kyled00m said: So many complaints. I guess everyone's judgments are based on other anime they have seen. It's sad when people base the judgment of one anime off another because the worlds are usually completely different. Even if it's done by the same studio, the universe may be completely different.
I like how well it's balancing the school life(happy) and the action(sad) aspects of the series. It isn't overly lovey-dovey and the action keeps you wanting to see more of the tools used.
Did you already forget the story? Living in a town where positive energy gathers is a boy who is able to gradually remove curses. His father sends many magical and cursed items to him to remove them for the betterment of the world and the cursed tools. Meanwhile, organizations seek to claim the tools, either to protect them, study them, or used them for killing.
Sure, the story leaves much to be expected, by happiness seems to be the way to remove curses from what I've seen. Them going to school, meeting people, and sharing warm times, as well as helping their brethren, seems to bring about happiness.
This anime is almost completely similar to the zombie anime I talked about (Kore wa Zombie desu ka) and ofcourse ppl are gonna compare them because the worlds and themes are extremelty close. The school slash fighting theme...etc.
The description they give as "background" doesnt cut it. Who is his father for one... and also how the hell does he obtain these unexplicablle boxes that turn into little tsundere girls...
In the world we live in everything is able to make sense because of a built up history, but if you create a story with something like what this anime has, it needs to be more clear about how and why life for the characters is different, if that makes any sense. Even if they gradually explain it overtime it's fine, but they haven't dont it yet and its already ep 7 so how are these crazy things happenning in a what's suppossed to begin as a "normal world". We've all seen how many anime start with normal ppl and earth obrits the sun ...with no problems but if it becomes a random fighting anime with demons and angels or something we see the transition somewhere so im waiting for it still. Only some anime like gundum start in comletely different world/dimensions, but the y still explain alot more history.
It's actually not really well balanced imo. Actually most animes have happy and sad in them. Clannad and many more do exactly the same things much better, hwever, you're right about the lovey doviness. The main hero is like a robot and his "love" just isn't there. All the girls are thoughtless manakins with boobs...except fear-she's a flat board with legs; or is she just a child??? (one or the other). Anyways, my eyes water, the love is so fake. I don't think the action keeps most ppl wanting more although some of her weapons are interesting, but the same action scenes have been seen b4 and b4. This is another time when we impulsively compare the show to others. Nobody wants to see the same stuff repeated. Atleast not more than twice (if its really bad ass stuff). But this show defines bland/hollow so far.
the only place one can find any hapiness in this anime at all will be the very last episode where one of the main hero/heroines will almost die/die and then they'll come back/never have really died. Then they'll all live happily after until the second series (wont happen) where Haruaki will have to pick who he loves the most so....etc.... lol
There is nothing to expect from this series. Nothing except more cliched rejected enemies, tears, petophiles, and over the top use of soft prn.Oh yeah-ugly cow tits too!!!
The background was the synopsis given which basically says some guy received box that turns into a loli and fights against other cursed items with him. Many anime give similar stories, and some you don't ever find a story, not even after watching a whole 24-26 episode season (See Higurashi).
I had a long paragraph about happiness but I decide even if I tried to explain it, you wouldn't understand what I would be trying to tell you.
Kore wa.. is about monsters and magic. C3 is about tools gaining souls after many years. A better comparison would be Kore wa.. vs Rosario + Vampire... I don't think there's a good anime to compare C3 to...
Hmm, two new characters. One voiced by Chiwa Saito (Sovereignty), and the other by Yuka Iguchi (Shiraho). Both of whom I like. Props to Chiwa Saito for the above average (in comparison with many Japanese) pronunciation of the English, seiyuu who can pronounce at that level and above are few. The step up in the level of ecchi and the frequency of fanservice is kind of jarring, though. Too... distracting, perhaps?
Fear is just too cute! I wish this Anime was a bit longer because there are so many unanswered questions and it seems to be too rushed as well... oh well... still pretty good I guess! xD
Pretty cool episode,Need to jump on the next.
I wonder who that guy at the end is..?
Though,I find it weird that a Cursed tool could get their life force stolen...
"Urushibara Ruka. The mannerisms and voice of a woman... No... More feminine than any woman. But he's a guy. Taller than Mayuri, but so very thin... But he's a guy. Looks great in a miko outfit... But he's a guy. It's already twilight And yet, it's so hot. The cicadas are crying. But... He's a guy."
Eh, a cursed doll absorbing people's vital energy.. now she knows that a curse can be cured but she still doesn't care? seems like she's going to be hard to stop, it even seems that Konoha is a victim as well now :/
