| I really hope the PV's suspenseful atmosphere extends to the actual show and with one of Steins;Gate's main directors in charge it's definitely not out of reach. The character design looks a bit too cutesy for my taste but it shouldn't matter too much if everything else works out. I love the colour design and with Studio Pablo co-working on it it's almost guaranteed to have gorgeous background art. Hopefully Mari Okada continues her winning streak after her most recent work on Nagi no Asukara. |

And she seems to have developed an obsession of putting males in dresses, generally portraying male characters terribly and the craziest ideas of fanservice that would rival NishioIsin's "toothbrush" debacle in absurdity. Pretty sure Miracle Girl doesn't have any crossdressing either from what I've heard but I've yet to watch it. A bit older but Aquarion Evol doesn't have any crossdressing either. Fun fact: the anime adaptation of Otome Yukai Zakuro takes out a crossdressing scene that was in the manga. |

I didn't like Anohana, but that moment was just used for more story melodrama (which is Mari Okada's main issue). Then again the issue of emasculation seems to also be a ridiculous non-issue. Male and female characters get treated just as poorly in Mari Okada works. They're all just poorly written characters. |

I just saw it as a way Yukiatsu 'coped' with Menma's death. Because that's all it was. It's not like he was doing it for no reason, he was pretty scarred by Menma's passing. I am aware that crossdressing is used for fanservice purposes as well (though actually, not all too often). However it is not used that way in the example. |

| JC Staff? Original Anime? Mari Okada? Steins;Gate Director+Art? Index Music? Psychological? The only thing which is already sure is that it's an interesting combo, and at least JC-Warner is trying something pretty brave right now. But really, with very hit and miss lady melodrama Mari Okada in script and those unique combo this show literally can go anywhere from a total flop or an epic experience, both in quality and sales. At least the trailer is pretty promising for now, so it's the first good step. Will at least try, especially since current Spring lineup just didn't indicate a good Spring for me. |

| I've learned to not get hyped up from PVs for these types of shows after Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou. The PVs/Trailers may look good/interesting, but the show itself probably wont live up to it. |
