According to Amazon Japan, there will be two special episodes included in the BD of "Teekyuu 2," to be released on October 25, 2013. They will be based on the following bonus chapters from volume 3 of the manga:

1. "Sempai to Chocolate Factory (Sempai and Chocolate Factory)"
2. "Sempai to Chihiro no Kamikakushi (Sempai and Spirited Away)"

These specials will be included along with a PV, CM, credit-less OP, and cast and staff commentary that includes manga creator Piyo, director Shin Itagaki, and seiyuu Kana Hanazawa, Suzuko Mimori, Yui Watanabe, and Kyoko Narumi.

Two episodes... Interesting news. Also interesting is how they released DVD for season 1 but in season 2 they release DVD only for rental in Tsutaya.
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

I think it's what you meant but Season 1 was also available on Bluray as that's what I got. Just so people are clear.

I originally thought the two bonus episodes would be different as the season 2 OP CD "Meni Meni Mani Mani" includes two bonus audio dramas from chapters 41 and 42 of the manga. I was surprised to hear they had made different bonus episodes for the bluray, I thought they'd re-use the audio. It makes me wonder if they haven't already recorded the audio for seasons 3 and 4. There are only 18 minutes of new content per season so it isn't like it would take much of Kana and Mimori and Yui's time in the sound booth...

I expect we'll see a season 4 announcement soon as the mangaka is banging out 4 chapters per month and they only use 1 chapter per episode so every 3 months there is a season worth of manga completed.

^ Yeah, I meant that Teekyu season 1 had both BD and DVD for the public to choose to buy but in season 2 there is only BD, and the DVD is only for rental purpose.

Will be interesting to see when I get my copy if the BD is listed as 'rentaru kinshi' or not. The amazon listing and official site don't say.

Actually if the characters only spoke in natural speed, it will easily go beyond 5 min per episode lol

In fact this is why I was hoping they _would_ use the audio dramas from the season two OP CD!!! They did their usual thing of voicing a chapter each from the manga but the episodes are nearly 4 minutes and over 5 minutes long! Teekyuu not on crack and it is actually really good! I wish season 3 was 5 minutes long instead, too bad they've gone with the same overdrive speed.

^ You know what, it was precisely the ultra-high speed of speech delivery that got me to drop the anime. The absurdist humor is pretty good and I surely don't mind spending 3 min or 5 min watching it but the crack speed literally gave me headache, so....

Too bad it seems there are no legal samples around for the audio dramas and I'm not sure if they are anywhere quasi-legal like youtube. It is interesting to hear Kana, Mimorin, Yui and Kyoko at normal speed but still in character. It is worth the buy IMO but you may not agree, 1500 Yen for 4 versions of the OP (the dance remix is really catchy!) and two audio dramas 9 minutes worth was an easy decision for me. I never realized the first season OP CD has audio dramas as well, I may have to hunt it down... out of print but some stores still have it.

The additional episodes are available now. Maybe list them as OVA?

I was hoping for that too especially since the Season 2 OP CD has two audio dramas (chapters 41 and 42) which are ~3:45 and 5:25 in length. But alas, the two bonus episodes are again 2 minutes each including the :35 OP so they are on crack and speed as usual.

Hoping the Season 3 OP CD has audio dramas again, otherwise I won't buy it as the Season 3 OP isn't nearly as good as Meni Meni Mani Mani from Season 2.
