| Father's friend from highschool who was used to be good at taking photo (Midorikawa-san)... He seems so strict and criticizes her photos so much. Wow @ bamboo lights. Even so, they are eating okonomiyaki together, and felt that he's actually a nice person. Doing fool things together, and the importance of taking the photos (making memories). He even led her take a photo of him with the bamboo light that "decorated" by the girls earlier. Oh, the inserted song is first season ED acoustic ver.!! | The Shokei no Michi bamboo lights festival take place in late October and is quite recent (started 2002) so it is no wonder the dad's friend, being out of Japan for >20 years, never saw the festival even though he was a local. | So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

'another' probably isnt the right word actually, there hasn't been a bad one yet. still the best currently airing show IMO |

| Rather strange guy the friend of the father, he wasn't a bad guy but his speech was rather harsh didn't expect to see that in this anime. It was a nice episode and Fuu learned a bit about her father again. We also got to see a nice photo session again which was also nice. |

| This episode tells you why being GENERIC (as in her "mediocre photography") can really be not such a bad thing, if there is love and effort put into it. I can see similarity in most criticisms about anime being "generic" these days by many armchair critics (who like the guy does not participate in the activity but just goes out criticizing others). |

| A picture that can make your hear race... Kanae was so cute defending Fuu-chan. Her reddening face from controlling her anger had me giggling. The Bamboo Festival reminded me of last season's. The lights around the town is just so beautiful to look at. Too bad we don't have festivals like that. |
| Kanae showed some guts at the inn. Dat aggressive. Another sweet episode, especially got emotional when Natsume was looking at the picture of Fuu at the end. I think their description of Fuu's photos fit my feelings for this show - simple but heart racing. |

| 5/5 Episode gorgeous, so sweetness shines through the narrative and the plot is also a step forward. Taking photos is not as easy as it looks, but also have the magic touch, it's just a few! The drawings are very nice, the scenery is not bad, melancholic atmosphere that convey the lighted lanterns. Fu and Kanae are so cute and sweet! ^^ |

| That guy was friends with Maesto and the father of Potte. SO POtte's father knew Maestro too. That's cool. This was a really nice episode. |
| Kanae really surprised me sticking up for Potte like that. Her dad's old friend Natsume really came across as a hard-ass early on, but it was more of a front really. The photo of infant Potte and her dad's message were heartwarming, as was seeing pieces of his past, like meeting his future wife. |

| Seeing Norie-chan break down seeing Maon's blank book was heartbreaking, what a scene. But they got to fill that book to the brim with the heartwarming experiences =) Sayomi in her high school uniform, too good! I accidentally watched the OVA instead of the actual episode 9. Now I've finished the season, and I just realized this and watching episode 9 hugely out of order. Go me. Man, that dude was pretty intense. But I feel it was a good experience for Fuu-nyon with absolute take-away lessons, some of which she applied immediately. Of course it was nice seeing him break his shell just that tad, and allowing her to make a small impact on him. I'd love to go to a similar event like the Path of Longing, it would look beautiful in real life! |

| Natsume was actually a nice guy, I like how he opened up about Potte's father, pretty heartwarming to watch. He shouldn't have quit photography though. I doubt we'll ever see him again. |
