LOL:

Another nice and calm episode imo. Well, the outside atmosphere seems to be a bit moody though with the darkened skies. I just love the OST at the end as well. Memories ;o

lol @ the talk about being leaders before. The magazine with the main girl on it, and it's the introduction of the new girl. lol @ the brother!! The club is official! lol @ that short hair new teacher, who is the teacher for the club. lol @ the "worst situation" when learning about that girl in the same school. lol @ "Potte-bu" (by the girl's old friend and current friends).

Nice more info. about the photographer father.

That rumored girl appeared at the end!!

Yay! Let's celebrate the founding of the club !!

So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

Maybe I'm the only one but I think I heard the opening song before (as insert song).

Anyway, it's nice that we can know more about Potte's father (even now we can see his face). This episode made me smile a lot :)

Best series of the year for sure... I was bit afraid of how they will go with that club thing, but it was adorable :)
all those wories and planing - poor Potte, on the other side she was so cute than.

WOW Maon has became talkative, I missed her whistling still that camera-turtle was great, if kind of weird but this was easy to predict.
Also new teacher: Potte-clone :D so I already like her - so let there will be episode of her and Tomo-chan ;)

Next week it seems most epic fight in history will happen: duel over the leadership of Photography Club!

Yeah in the last 10 second of the episode the new girl is appearing, thought it said she like Fuu.
She is the girl that stalk them for a while.

what a great little episode that was.
to be honest, i haven't been disappointed by an episode of tamayura yet, be it the 4 ovas or the 13 eps of s1, they've all been great.
definitely the best show ive picked up in a long time.

this episode was great, so enjoyable to watch. im sort of glad its not immensely popular, it helps filter out all the idiots associated with big name releases, and the only people who pick this up have actually looked for it, and enjoy the show to begin with. so discussion is always on topic and relevant.

shame more series cant be like this. certainly a worthy fill in for aria (imo)

The club advisor was pretty funny and clumsy especially the part when they entered to drama club by accident.
I wonder what the new girl will bring to the anime can't wait till next week to see.

Let the club activities begin! Fuu really isn't cut out to be a leader/representative yet, but I'm sure she'll improve. Kanae will be joining the club next episode. I wonder how that'll go!

That stuffed elephant was suggestive.

That Rollei 35 S looked like a cheap toy camera, and the camera protector looked like a lunchbox. Also character design was average, and they looked like primary school children rather than high schoolers. Characters of Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, junior high school kids, looked much maturer. If it had been an action show with fast moving characters or a 3-min-short anime with low budget, mediocre art would've been understandable. Overall the art of this show is disappointing by today's standard. It's very noticeable when seeing the cherry blossom scene compared to other anime such as Hakkenden and Gifuu. Even Glass Mask 2005 had the much better drawing of cherry blossoms. Also it felft forced when they said she won photo competition. That pic didn't look impressive due to the mediocre art. I wouldn't mind the art if it was Yama no Susume which was an anime about mountaineering. But since this anime is related to photography, I had expected the 2nd season to have an improved and photogenic art. Without good art, it's unconvincing (at least to me) why the MC has enthusiasm about photography.

lol wow, fair enough, you obviously dont like the show, but you dont need to compare it to all these other shows, i could compare any movie after redline and any series after hyouka and say the art is shit and it doesnt compare.
thats not the point, you watch tamayura to relax, its not about high budget and action, its the calm tale about the life of a girl who is interested in photography and her friends as they live their lives.

i wont lie, shows like this arent for everyone, and its no surprise someone might not like it, but theres no need to come across with a post like that.

Different companies have different type of art style. Such as KyoAni has crappy art style to some other anime like Death Note by Madhouse Studios someone might say. But for me I don't even mind as each are unique. Indeed, art style is different. But watching anime for an art style isn't what enjoyment is about. If you too care for the art, then your selection of anime to watch would be greatly reduced. Relaxation is the point of this anime and the exploration of how Fuu will live on and continue her love for photography is the main point, hence she started a photography club and wants many photography lovers to join and share their love. Theme, plot, atmosphere and emotional connections etc. are far more important than art style. I always try to shift my ways of enjoying anime when it comes to different art styles and genres and so far it works. So maybe you should try to shift too, as a different perspective of viewing an anime will give a better enjoyment. As comparing different art styles would only ruin your enjoyment of many many anime...
If you are talking about a bad art style, this is one of them of what I call a really bad art style:

Lol. That Drama scene caught me by surprise and Lol'ed. That student was really trolling them. This anime stands out this season as it is so cute, nostalgic, and relaxing.

Maaya and Megumi's songs are just soooo good to listen to. It's giving me a nice warm feeling in my heart.

4/5

The episode flows peacefully with his narration calm and full of sweetness.
As a result of his passion we see an evolution of Potte and the story that leads her to set up a photography club, no twist, but I do not think the anime has this intention.
Drawings and animations are good, nothing elaborate or impressive, I do not think it was high budget for this series, since I do not have anything to offer so addictive if not its sweetness and its air from SOL.
The music helps a lot in the narrative create the atmosphere of SOL calm and pleasant, so I promote both the opening that the ending, along with the OST.

What a long-ass name of that new teacher though and also a bit of a clumsy what a great combination for the club indeed, so Maestro and Potte's dad had a relationship in the past as former high school buddies, gotta love the Potte's club being supportive to Potte in every moment she need it, so now the third year which I know in fact that was Mitani Kanae appeared on the scene, kinda awkward though.
