| I mean I never had a problem with Haru being the way he is. I kinda think he's a bit too short but I mean they are still in middle school so it's whatever. With that being said, I never see Haru eat that much to warrant him being so fat. Obviously he probably ate a lot when he was bullied but the times have changed. You can tell throughout the anime he has grown as a character. He's definitely a chubby guy but I never picture him to be THAT big; looks like hes an obese child. >.> |

| Release date will be together with the second game, which is somewhere in 2013 for now (no specifics). As for Haru being "too big," this is just 1 frame. It could simply be an exaggeration. I mean come on, how often we see chibi version of characters, yet nobody is complaining "they look weird, too small for a normal human." |

| Could it be that he might just be standing up, and Hime was just sitting down? Given his proportions, that's what is most likely depicted in that picture. I don't know why he's so criticized for his body; I find it refreshing to see a main character who is not physically norm (anime-wise anyway). The only attribute that I couldn't stand about him was his powerlessness and submissive personality, but that has started to changed through the series. Anyway, I am excited to see more of Accel World, be it more OVA or another season (I hope). |

| Here's (re) my problem(s). And it's not that Haru's fat. 1) Haru is drawn unrealistically like a chibi fat kid in comparison to the others who have realistic body proportions. I mean if you're going to draw a fat kid do it properly. 2) In those pictures, Haru looks ginormous, in contrast to when, normally, he's dwarfed in comparison to Hime and the others. It doesn't make sense. His size and body proportions are so inconsistent. This annoyed me so much I can't even. |
| In that pic, Haru is embarassing, so he's going to leave the onsen, and Hime-chan is behind him. That's why, imo, he looks bigger than her. It's just a point of view. In fact, I think he'll be slim someday, like in the end of series. And i have a doubt, was the second episode released? Cause I see people who claims that watched. |
