| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ----------------------------------------  More tough love and emotions this episode. I imagine Yuuya is going way over his head now. Kinda a meh episode though with a lot of dialogue. Also, Tasha or w/e her name is has some emotions while we also see just a tiny bit of the commander's background. Some trouble at the end as a shit lot of aliens are on the move! Just average episode imo overall. |

| OnoD's character don't participate in the party because they should celebrate for the leader who brought the robot, and he said he needs more data. Discrimination prob., and the Russian teams still not approved of him because he's not Russian? That's from what they've learned in their life. OnoD's character got appointed as a sniper at certain meeting, so at the sam time he can get more data, but he cannot battle again? Something's coming at the end. |

| The whole thing was way too predictable including the ending. It also felt like nothing happened until the end. They just stand around debating whether or not he's useful and if they should bring him. Something big needs to happen for progress. Have the beta hit the base hard, and have some casualties. Considering the threat they are supposed to be. |

I'm pretty sure we will get the heavy stuff like seen in the first two episodes later on or even in the next episode. In saying that it's almost certain we'll also see some deaths of the main characters as well Dx But looks like some bad things are about to happen. Didn't see Cryska or Inia at all =/ (with the Russians most likely being the victims again I'm sure -_-) |

For one thing, it's like there's no aliens invading the planet that national differences (which are artificial=man-made) are much more important that highlighting the things everyone share (like, for example, they are all humans who live in the same planet that is being invaded by aliens, for starters), it implies that when there is danger, human's first reaction is not to survive (thus already negating a natural instinct, LOL), but to be petty and stupid. |

| Zzz... was a boring episode. I was hoping the story would move along a little faster after he fired/tested that new weapon but I guess its gonna go at a snails pace. Need more action like in the beginning. >.< |

| Yeah, kinda too much dialogue but it was okay. I liked Yuuya's chat with Commander but omg that scene where they were debating if he should go out or not was irritating to watch. It was fun watching Yui getting all shy at the hangar though haha :D |

You are wrong, do you really think if aliens attacked our planet everyone suddendly get along? No, things arent like that. You say to survive is human instinct and its true, but they are also selfish, intolerant and prejudiced by nature and that wont change no matter how bad the situation is. This anime clearly tries to show that humans are flawed and sometimes even self-destructive, its true that the show is very far from being amazing but personally I think people underrating this quite alot specially considering when have Dakara H and Hagure no Yuusha which are in my opinion are quite worse than this show. Also I would like to say that I like how the is actually flawed. Im quite sick to see all those MCs that are pretty much saints. |

| This was pretty good. I really enjoyed this episode. |
| It was pretty obvious that the professor and that Soviet officer where planning something together especially there laugh when Yui left gave them away. Either they where planning to do something to Yui or they knew of the upcoming attack from the Beta. That last officer that came in during the Zhar Battalions meeting also seemed suspicious judging be the looks of the commender it was unexpected for him to appear. And that meeting itself seemed like a form of brainwashing and propaganda almost every soldier had to say those words. This episode also showed Yuuya's immaturity again the way he was speaking towards the commender of the Zhar Battalion and i thought he was finally maturing a little bit. Tho it did seem he learned something when he mentioned Yui could fight instead of him. |
| He wasn't a hero, all he did was stand back and pull the trigger.That's what I said last episode. Well, it looks like he'll be able to get some melee training after all. Pretty predictable that small BETA force would't be all of it. Hopefully Yuuya and Yui will be able to really shine this time! |

| The first 2 episodes pretty much tricked me into what I thought would be an action packed anime with a lot of battling/death/destruction. I still find it entertaining to watch however and I like the characters. As for the episode I think I'd call it OK. It was a little boring but build up is necessary. 3/5 |
