At the time I didn't own a PS3 and had my xbox since release and had been considering switching to a PS3 for awhile. So in a way my xbox dying convinced me to get a PS3 and I've not regretted it in the slightest. |

I actually watch any genre as long as it can keep me interested with either just antics or a good plot. Although I do take a major liking to the romance genre. Even if it is mainly action or psychological or such I always appreciate it more if it has even a little romance. Spend a lot of my free time on the forums here so hope to get to know you all better! |

| I'm SquadmemberRitsu. But my real name is Patrick. I'm a 15 (Turning 16 in November) year old Australian High school student in Year 10. I like anime that has a fast paced plot. I hate it when I show takes too long to get to the point. The only time I can accept a slow paced plot is in a Slice of Life. Slow paced action series are a real turn off for me. When I was about 10, I was hugely into Dragonball Z but I got into anime last year through K-On. But the anime that really got me into the fandom was The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Even though I generally enjoy psychological anime like Madoka Magica, I still enjoy a good slice of life every now and then. Some of my favourite Slice of Life shows (Other than the ones I mentioned) are Clannad After Story, Hanasaku Iroha, Hidamari Sketch and Welcome to the NHK. My all time favourite show is Cowboy Bebop and my favourite movie is The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. | Haibane Renmei is slice of life and drama. Mushishi is fantasy, adventure, mystery, drama. It's episodic though. |

I graduated from my highschool in June and am currently waiting to be shipped off to Navy Basic Training in Great Lakes, Illinois. I started watching anime when I was small because of my dad and relatives, but I didn't actually get into it until about 5 years ago which was when I was a freshmen in High school. You might be wondering why I've gone to 5 years of schooling and the reason for that is because at the beginning of my junior I started doing drugs and drinking alcohol. I got into it heavily during my senior year and didn't even attend at all causing me to receive a 0.0 GPA. I then moved to Chelmsford, Mass and attended a public school there which I did end up graduating. Now I am trying to make something of my life by joining the Navy and hopefully sailing the seven seas. If I get lucky I might get stationed in Japan! XD My favorite anime is Code Geass and manga is Chrno Crusade. I love all anime and manga genres, but I try to avoid ecchi. Though most ecchi anime and manga are considered the most hilarious. |

I also used to smoke weed and drink in my junior year, but i decided partying and doing drugs wasn't worth being a 30 year old worker at McDonalds, so my senior year i quit and graduated that year and now im going to my local Community College. |
