I don't know if that makes that much sense but I'll accept it! It's not like his Diable Jambe does either, and this time speaking of that it's presumably hotter with a cross of light. Setting aflame and literally cooking an arm of a kraken. Zoro showed a really cool slash where he, in the blink of an eye, 6 way cut a giant kraken tentacle into pieces. He mentioned he fought
everyday for the last two years, probably quite ruthlessly too. So, maybe that's why he wanted to fish so bad, to take a break from it all! HA. Then of course, Luffy showed us a third gear mixed with armament creating a fist the size of a building and imbuing with what looked like steel! Our main fighters are going to be even scarier now on. The shark they saved with the Crimin shirt is most definitely going to come back to help them out later.. maybe it's part of the Flying Dutchman's crew seeing that the angler fish was too!
And with small bubbles and nothing more they get pulled down into the sea. I was wondering if one would pop their bubble and have to join one of their crewmates to fill a bubble with them. Zoro and Sanji fighting in a bubble would be quite great but I don't know if that'll happen. With that they leave the episode for the rest of it and we focus on the rest of the crew as they too get pulled into the beautifully scary sea. This arc has been so cool already, the roots going down through the sea, the lighting, the volcano bed, the venomous jellyfish, the swarm of sea kings, the temperature changes- just to name a few things. Everything has a hint of wonder and fear of the unknown with it. With the bubble slowly decreasing as they dodge obstacles and these beasts there's always a sense of tension with the wonder and that's cool.
Franky has been strong so far. With Caribou disappearing I had wondered where he was and yet again another one of the hardest laughs I've got from post time skip came from Franky and Caribou. The first being Franky casually walking over to him and picking him up, the second was him seeing Caribou plotting in a barrel, slowly walking over to him, and then locking him it as he screamed. Franky is ruthless and Caribou is growing on me. There is something hilarious about a creature of pure evil and insanity like him which would normally be so frightening and such a horrible presence, yet with the crew as strong as ours they casually toss him around. Franky said it doesn't matter if he got away because he's so weak anyways! They aren't even tossing him out to sea to be safe, it's like he's just a child along for the ride when it comes to the Straw Hats. Plus him pretending to be caught and then plotting to kill them secretly is more of some interesting situations he could get them in. Franky's nipple lights and hand lights were so wonderful too, I can't wait to see more of that amazing guy's new inventions.
I touched on the beauty and fear of this journey already but now with a giant sea person and the ghost ship of the Flying Dutchman showing up, well, that's just more going on! Now we have this going on, and our main fighting trio is nowhere to be seen. Very cool stuff! There's something funny about this being the 2nd ghost ship to be seen, the first was Brook coming by singing on his and everyone scared but Luffy. Now Brooks on the other side and he's scared.
