No OP.

Going on shopping, and Oscar wants to eat Yune's sukiyaki.

Yune is popular.

Yune wants to help, and the way she does looks like young Claude.

Claude is mad because Yune got his father's glove, and accidentally yelled at her to get away. Oscar's the one who told her about it.

Yune went out to get the cat because she heard the bell on the cat. Claude realized later and searching her.

Alice and few of them are helping him searching her. Claude finally found Yune climbing up the roof. What? The cat went missing for 10 years?

Yune wanted to be of helpful. Claude was sad that he wasn't able to save his father (thus he felt not so helpful). He finally told Yune that he hated his father for not liking his own son. He promised that he would take her to where he died, and tell more in detail.

Ohimesama dakko by Claude because she forgot that she dropped her shoes, and everyone teasing him. Everyone liking Yune.

It was a nice and warm ending.

Claude's father died in a construction accident and fell a few hundred feet. Revealed a bit too late much. Yune got on the roof and nearly fell to her doom but thanks to Claude she got saved and a nice ending as well, but really that's some thin glass, it can't even support a 50 lb girl.

Yune and Claude shopping in the credits.

Very nice and relaxing anime, character development was nice as well, loved the tsun side of Claude at the very end.

10/10

The glass didnt break though but the sounds were kinda worrisome.
A nice final episode for what I thought was the most enjoyable series that started during this summer season. Yune was the most adorable thing this year but this show was driven not by its story but by its characters.
Its a shame that the manga has not gone past vol2 since 2009...I really would love to see a second season of this in the future but for now I will have to do with this.

A solid 9/10 in the end. Only show this season I can give this to (so far).

Yeah the ending was great but I was a bit sad becuase I thought that Yune fall down and died and was a bit worry about flashback and it would happend the same.
But such a warm hearting anime I think such a think can't happend.

A great ending to a wonder anime. I was a bit frustrated at claude at the beginning but he of course redeems himself by not letting yune fall and die the same way as his father when he was building the

They still never got her slippers off the roof! Good Job Claude.

Unfortunely I can't see how they will make a season 2 of this anime, great anime I give the same rating as Usagi Drop. :)

I kind of wished Yune fell down and died.
Okay, hear me out, she really would be some kind of fairy, spreading happiness wherever she happened to be at and her legend would be passed down the Gallerie.

That would be awesome... except that we really did not see much of Yune interacting with the people of the Gallerie which was a bit of a gripe I had with this episode. I know they can't show everything she did, but some indication would be great.

It was a great episode, but i was kinda disappointed. the manga chapter was more emotional and Claude really hugged her with such intensity in the manga.

Also, i was really sad that we´ll never get to see the grand magasin event (chapter 8). It was the more tragic and emotional scene between Claude and Yune.

Not having read the manga my heart was in my throat during the whole rooftop scene because I was sure she was going to fall. Since the manga is on hiatus I guess my hopes for a second season are going to have to wait. I really wanted to see more on Camille x Claude.

And I've just increased my rating. This was as good as Usagi Drop (pre-timeskip).

I'm kinda disappointed.

1) There was no ClaudexCamille development,

2) They waited too long to talk about Claude's father,

3) There wasn't much about Yune's sister besides the unsatisfactory flashback,

4) They never did go to the Grand Magasin,

5) We never saw the sign Claude designed that beat his father's,

6) There wasn't enough of the YunexLittle Thief Boy development,

7) They never got her sandals at the end. -.-V

Other than those small details, everything about this show was above satisfactory. I wasn't crazy about the story, but the characters compensated extremely well. It was a very nice, calming anime with a great ED song.

Overall: a good show - (what I rate as "good" by this genre) 7/10.

Don't like the ending it's left off so unfinished in a way. I was more interested in the relationship between Claude and Camile rather than the main plot, which is what Yune trying to fit in? How stupid can Yune be to think the bell was the cat? Oh wait she's still a child, now it starting to make sense. A child maid too who traveled across the world with an old man to serve 2 strangers she doesn't know. I really like how the girls look in this anime those eyes, yeh something positive. Hoping for more about Camile or Yune's sister. O wells
5.5/10 but there isn't a 5.5 ;/

Sigh. It really is a shame that we only get one season. It seems like there's plenty more to be told. And now, my own personal heartwarming medication is gone! This was such a great character series, with Yune being one of the best characters I've seen in a long while, and the supporting cast being very strong as well. It was a very beautiful and very touching show, and I think the only way it could have been better was if there was more of it. So now I'll just have to cross my fingers for a 2nd season!

D: It's over. Darn. Tsundere Claude is awesome. Needed more tsun in the other episodes. I bet Yune's lending some geta from Alice anyway, or should I say, got them. Hah, so that's why Claude was that opposing of the Grand Magasin. I should have seen that coming. I really wanted more of development with the thief kid, since that's what I predicted from the first episodes D:

Guess I'll stick to 7/10.

I liked the last episode, but as an overall, the series needs a.. real ending? It's like most of the chapters introduced the stories of the different characters, but none of these stories really ended, they all were left in the half way.
Maybe a second season could fix this, who knows.

Apart from that, nice anime. I loved Yune, she's one of the most cutest characters I've ever seen.

7/10.

A bit of a dramatic finale there, I was hoping it would be as subtle and relaxing as the rest of the series. I thought the series would end with Claude returning Yune's kimono but that never decided to happened. /shrugs/

it did everything what i expect from a slice of life with that synopsis perfectly.. charming characters, stories that heal or melt the hearts of people, a wonderful setting and good music.. my only complaint is that an irresolvable plot element was inserted in the form of Claude x Camille.. that theme is a bit common on Victorian era settings anyway and it doesn't help as much on the concept of "Japanese girl on a foreign country of France" other than as a comparison to Yune's relationship with Claude, and that which seem to mislead people into thinking that it is the most important element of the story for them.. this made it feel lacking as a whole.. sad, on Yune's side, while she didn't get her kimono back, the end has shown how much she has become significant to the people in Galerie.. guess i'll give it just an 8/10.. i would've wanted to give a 9 at first..

And so it ends. I'll miss this show and the way it made me feel every week.
It's got the bittersweet taste of unfinished business though, like a few people have said already. This needs a second season because I want to see Camille more often. :(
I guess it's not really a surprise we don't have a real ending since from what I've gathered the manga's on hiatus at the moment. Since when? No hope for it to continue?

Struggling between a 7 and an 8 here, but I'll go with the 8.

I didn't really like this episode :S Sucks how Claude's dad died, but, I dunno, it was just kind of ... I didn't really like it >_< Kind of a letdown for the last one :(
Overall ... it was good, I think? I mean the characters were pretty interesting (OK I kind of lost interest in Yune, needs MOAR CAMILLE) and I really liked the music (the clarinet in the BGM ... oh my god) and the animation was good, though the quality did drop noticeably ... well it was fun to watch but I dunno, I'd give it a 7.5 I think ... but since I can't ... 7/10

One thing i think people fail to realize (or mention at least) is that the manga is unfnished meaning it will leave alot of things unfinished. If there's a second season (which i seriously hope there is) then this is a great stopping point for it imo.

What a great ending to such a heartwarming series. I wonder what that bell sound actually was in the end. It wasn't the cat, so what was it?

Such lovable characters and the setting was awesome. Now wait for the Yune and Alice OVA's! This series is getting a 8/10 from me. =)

Great ending, that felt really Totoro-ish too. It was a very sweet and atmospheric series overall, and really well-documented as far as the XIX's Century Paris goes. 8/10
