Shingetsutan Tsukihime or Fate/stay night?

IMO, I like Shingetsutan Tsukihime more, its quick to the plot and it has more maturer darker theme.

Arcueid antics are win!

I also watched Fate/stay night, but its hazy to recall any of the episodes separate stories.

Out of those two, I prefer Tsukihime more, though out of Type-Moon stuff, Kara no Kyoukai.

Tsukihime is Nasu's single greatest achievement.

And, OP, what is this "Shingetsutan" thing?

obviously, the one where there's Rin Tohsaka in it..

anyway, Fate/stay night remains to be one of the most well constructed and organized multi-route plot for a vn of all time, with a wider array of characters (not just this one guy with his harem and some villains that are blatantly evil).. it has also spawned a very epic prequel..

KnK wins the anime award, though..

Kohaku needs to hurry up and be real so I can marry her. She's absolutely gorgeous and crazy as hell, I love it.

Fate/Stay Night was my first VN. I played through the Fate and UBW scenarios, then took a break after hearing about Tsukihime. I decided to check out just a bit of Tsukihime before going back and playing through Heaven's Feel, how foolish I was. I ended up playing through all five routes of Tsukihime and playing Kagetsu Tohya before finally making it back to F/SN.

Now if only we could get a Tsukihime anime...

Yes for sure. I was able to play through Fate Stay night with so much interest and enjoyment. Tsukihime on the other hand just wasn't on the same level for me. But going by anime adaptions KnK is far superior to both Fate and Tsukihime.

Putting my vote for Fate/Stay Night too. There's just so much more meat to the story itself. Tsukihime, while nailing the dark mature vibe of a vampire story, fell on the usual tropes of the bishoujo games (although in a more subverted way).

Hm... too hard to decide. I think I would go for Tsukihime if it was for plot wise... though FSN beats the s**t out of it when speaking in character development. It's not like I'm too onesided to one or to another, but as to romance I would also go for FSN since it offered us of a slight level for caring each other (SaverXShiro) while Tsukihime was kinda too direct and bold to me. Hey, it's strange enough a highschooler would have a loving night with a vampire in the same bed XD

Tsukihimes romance is just as much as Fate stay night if not more. Have you played Tsukihime?

Fate/Stay Night. The VN of it had great character development. I really enjoyed playing the UBW route <3 I like KnK as well! (I wish there was a VN!)
