I forgot about watching today's Starry☆Sky earlier!

Young Kazuki sounds like Ginga from Metal Fight Beyblade series... (but it was Akeno Watanabe after all) He has a power to know the future, it seems.

Wow, amazing! What a thing to say for that age, Young Tsukiko!

So Kazuki is a lonely guy.

What a useless episode...

Just exactly how much romance is gonna b in this anime? -__-

Kazuki's story is my favorite in the game... so this is a let down...

I liked it.

Mainly because Nakamura Yuuichi was the seiyuu, but that's besides the point!

And I thought Yukiko's take on the heart was interesting, too. A lot of people seem to really dislike this show, but if you take the two episode arcs for what they are it isn't so bad, is it?

Tsukiko certainly is wise even at such a young age.
The things she said aren't things you expect a little girl to say but from someone who is much older with much more life experience.
I think she is a very likable character.

I don't see any reason to think of this Anime as bad.
Maybe people just have a problem with the reversed Harem theme or they can't handle the shoujo part of it.
The pace might also be a problem for some.

I have no problem with reversed Harem (I like them), no problem with shoujo parts... The problem is, that 22min/ characters is too short for somebody (like me) who have never played the game or ever known about "Starry☆Sky" before the anime.
For me it's not very developped and it goes to fast for me, so it's "logical" for me to think it badly. It's my point of view, I dunno if there is somebody who is in the same case as me.

Wow, the way they talked about his "power". xD That made it seem really lame. orz Hoping that the second part of this arc is better.

I actually thought this one was kind of a good change of pace having the character with superpowers and having a back story.

Exactly my thought. I was really expecting Kazuki's arc since he's my sign, but his story is just like the others: poor paced, unbelievable, and with too much unnecessary scenes. I hope the things get 'better' by the twist we'll get in the next episode, but big expectations no more.

And talking about Tsukiko, her mature it's very exaggerated. For a girl at that age, saying those things is rather unbelievable. And, how convenient she is! She appears right when the characters are in a big problem. That's another big flaw in the story and in the characterization as well.

By the way, I'm getting tired of the structure the arcs have: "childhood problem" -> "meet with Tsukiko" -> "personality change" -> "going to the academy/meeting again with Tsukiko" -> "something happens" -> "is resolved" -> "everybody is happy".

Director, please make the storytelling enjoyable, at least. Get some inventive.

In my opinion the ep was kinda good(not fully but kinda)
I guess ep 8 will be better(rest of the arc I think)

I kinda agree with you there so far that seems to be going on with the past episodes, I wonder if anything will change or something :c but for now, all we can do is hope it does (even a little bit)

So basically, the 1st ep in the arc is going to be the backstory/childhood of how they meet this girl and the 2nd ep is going to be them now in highschool trying to get this girl to loive them...ok, I'll keep watching.

I don't think it's that. If people had looked at the genres then they'd be expecting this to be a shoujo reverse harem.

I think the main things are A) Fans of the game disappointed with the adaption. B) People who didn't think this was going to work in two episode arcs. And C) people who were expecting more than 11 minutes an episode.

I fall into the latter two categories I mentioned. I thought this show would be completely different than what it actually is, but I got over it, and I'm enjoying this for what it has become, not what I thought it would be. Looking at it that way, I think a lot of people could reap a lot more enjoyment from Starry Sky.

I was expecting Kazuki to be a little more...spunky? I don't know. I feel like all the male characters are way too angsty, only to have their lives significantly changed by the ever-perfect Tsukiko. Reminds me a lot of Fruits Basket but without time dedicated to proper character and relationship development. I mean, I don't hate angst if it's well placed, but this is getting repetitive. A little change of pace and tone would do wonders for this series.

reverse harem is usually centered on the girl however this one makes Tsukiko more like a side character even though she is the main girl

C’mon, superpowers now? It’s too much even for me. Everything’s just a repetitive mushy soup opera.
I think, then procrastinate.

To be honest, I don't like the Kazuki arc at all. I like his char but that girl is freakin annoying, like hell she has the right to tell him how that he's a coward after they met like 2 min ago -_-" The grandfather is also really annoying, it's not like you can control everything and he should stop promising Kazuki he'll understand it later, it's so annoying and pointless. The other arcs were a lot better and less slow paced than this so I'm kinda dissapointed... I hope next arc will be better and I hope that girl won't be as annayoing as she was in this episde... but well, I like Kazuki so I hope they'll do a better job at the second part of the arc :)

lol, Omg now that you pointed it out.. even thou the spelling is wrong i still read it as destiny. loz

Tsukiko was surely very wise when she was young. I dont think anybody would be able to say that in that young age. ha.ha
I guess that people who find it boring wants it to go on the actual teenage characters where there is romance; not that much of the past, but i think that the past and stuff is still important.

Maybe I'm tired or just derpy, but I didn't really get what's supposed to have happened with Tsukiko "because she was friends with Kazu." ._. Did she get generically bullied?

Other than that scene seeming sort of odd and abrupt to me, I liked this episode, though.
