I haven't rated this series yet, I usually wait a few eps (usually 5) before I rate a series... and of course it's never final ^^ but this ep was definitely promising... | Ha! I was totaly right the last time . . . The President had a thing for his daughter's boyfriend (although I expected them to have an illicit affair. Oh well) and Aoki is attracted to his sisster in an unhealthy way. Damn straight! (pun well intended) And what is it about that guy that Maki shot? Best male friends? In shoujo? Don't make me laugh >:D I'm hooked. |

Brilliant episode. I noticed the sister thing in the previous episode, so it didn't surprise me too much. Everything else did though, and the tension created was perfect. A very well-executed end to the first two-ep arc of Himitsu. |

| That far better than my suicide theorie, a gay presedent! XD I know that the author of the manga sometimes has gay couples in her stories, and I did expect to see some "gayness" sooner or later in this anime too, but not so soon. That was really a nice suprise, I'll stick with this anime! ^^ The "sister" thing was not suprising anymore, as after last episode (where he watched her taking a shower) I already suspected that. While Aoki seems like a boring character, he did show some strenght with deciding to leave this all behind. Maki's best friend looks a little bit like Aoki (being tall, black hair, probably as "correct" thinking as him), there will surely be some reaction by Maki to that. |

| Kou-chan seems to have a crush on his sister. Oi oi oi!!! You've got to be kidding me how dare them!!!! Making a mockery.... that's not funny and its pretty distasteful, but the cover up is awesome! Jeez Maki has such a big manly voice and he's so tiny well I am kinda wondering about what happened to him. |

| I wouldnt be suprised if the American secret service or FBI even shot Ross Macauley. And also made sure the secret agent guy dissapeared. It would probably be even worse for the Presidents reputation to let the mass know he was in love with a terrorist, that eventually killed him Also seems Aoki has the same issue, being in love with his sister. Glad he decided to move out though. |

| The protagonist is as annoying as ever. The FBI agent yelling at him expressed my feelings exactly. Get that overly sentimental, unprepared, unprofessional kid out of there. Jesus. And as if that weren't enough, it looks like he has some twisted Freudian hard on for his sister. Make it stop. Not that his sister is any better of a person than he is. I feel zero pity for her, only disgust. If you act like desperate trash, you'll be treated like desperate trash. Maybe the protagonist will have some sort of turning point where he beats up the asshole having an affair with his sister. That would be very refreshing - fingers crossed. Though seeing his performance towards the end makes me wonder if his presence is important after all. Maybe you do need someone that emotional and sentimental analyzing human memories, because human memories are full of just that. Doesn't make him any less annoying though. And you could just as easily argue that someone's sentiments could cloud their judgement of someone else's memories and what you really need is pure logic and deduction with no emotional bias. Deborah's boyfriend / the assassin though... he's damn cute. I feel for you, Mr. President. This is some Death in Venice theme right here. Matthew/Ross = Tadzio. And the old dude with a crush even dies to make the reference more complete. Though Ross has a lot of Johan Liebert vibes too. Evil intent despite looking like an angel, making people go gay, getting shot in the middle of the forehead... Cliff hanger at the end of the episode regarding Maki's dark past has me more excited than anything in the show thus far. (actually it might be tied with the president's daydreams about Ross) (Death in Venice, I tell you. DEATH. IN. VENICE.) |
