| The multimedia studio Nitroplus announced on its website that it will be showing a demo movie for a new anime "(whose title is secret)" at this week's Tokyo International Anime Fair. While it has not revealed the title, Nitroplus plans to unveil more details in the future. A Togainu no Chi website is under construction at the togainu.tv (http://www.togainu.tv/). Togainu no Chi originated as an adult game that Nitroplus' Nitro+CHiRAL boys-love game brand released in 2005. Manga artist Suguro Chayamachi adapted the game's story about a post-apocalyptic street fighter in Enterbrain's comic B's-LOG magazine, and the seventh manga volume shipped last August. The Togainu no Chi website lists Aniplex in its copyright in addition to Nitroplus/Hobibox. Tokyopop published the fourth volume of the manga in North America in November. | We'll have to wait for 5 days before the demo is released (so I've been told). As for the voice actors... I don't actually care if they're the ones from the PC or PS2 version, or mixed xD As long as they're the same ones. And as long as Hikaru Midorikawa is Shikiti's seiyuu. |

| Yay thank you~! I think that animation is pretty good, looks promising, only their eyes are kinda different... If trailer is out so quickly, so maybe anime will be out in summer season? *.* I read that this trailer is only pilot version and " they're going to gather fan reactions and fine-tune the character designs etc..." ( by dagger_ix1 on lj ). So it's more probably that anime will be in fall season, but thanks god that it will be still in 2010 xD |

| @Maya666 ~ Yeah, I saw that Dagger said that, as well. I already like how the characters look, I must admit. Although I'm not sure how much I fancy the fact that their eyes are...so...shiny. xD Also, I have a feeling it will more more like the manga..(meaning - no BL), but it doesn't matter as much..as long as it's Togainu~ <3 *_* In any case, I really doubt it will be released for the summer season, no matter how awesome that would be!! XD All we can do is wait now, to get more info~ |

| Finished watching the anime not too long ago, i thought it was pretty damn entertaining. Then again i haven't played the games *waits patiently for english traslation for the PS2 game* So i can't really compare the two ;p However watching the show inspired me to buy the two new models of Shiki and Akira, and i've started reading the manga. The anime gets really good and interesting at episode 7, but i think they must have run out of budget on the last episode. I was expecting a huuuuuge and epic fight scene, and what we got was it happening off camera, and a lot of grunts and groans (not the good kind i might add ;p) |
