| Both of these panels are great with no context to share with people 🤣 But overall, was a productive chapter. We got Akira probably planning to switch sides again, (although I don't think she officially ever joined X) And the path toward stopping the purge.   |

| this makes so much sense because the citizens have always been odd to begin with, can't be surprised with the crash out. but the highlight of the chapter, the JCC gang, basically the b-squad is back in the picture and i'm looking forward to see how they contribute. great chapter. |

| There’s a lot to unpack here on the morality of man. Suzuki uses Slur’s dialogue to dissect the psyche of what we’re capable of when alleviated from the weight of guilt; whilst also bestowed the power to do something about what irks us to our very core. He describes the thought process behind the panicked justification of the act, and the false sense of righteousness that follows as a coping method, left to ride the adrenaline high of a power trip. Man naturally hides themselves from themselves to go on living, when they know what they’re doing is wrong. With this premise, it’s almost as if Suzuki is asking us, what would we do? |
