In 2020, I started it when my cousin puts it on for me, we used to visit each other before my cousin's mother died and he moved somewhere, and I was amazed of where it's going, and later on I decided to experience it myself back home, and in 2021, I never regret what I see, and it changed how much I loved Shounen forever

It's the greatest experience ever

I once started watching this back in 2022 but I dropped it after 30 some episodes. I started this again from episode 1 like 3 months ago and it was PEAK. One of my favourite shows fr. I regret dropping it

I watched HxH 1999 first and a little later I started collecting the manga volumes, I watched HxH 2011 weekly until it was finished, but it was very painful having to wait for the next episode to come out especially in the chimera ant arc

I watched it back in 2021 or 2022 with my college roommate. I remember back at the time we'd ask each other if we wanted to watch some gay kids (considering the 100% totally platonic relationship between Gon and Killua). when I first watched it I thought it was pretty mid, but it's grown on me as time has passed and I've been able to compare it to other shonens I've watched on the years since. I don't consider it the best shonen ever or even better than any of the big 3, though

It wasn't finished until 2014, though. I finished watching it around the time the anime itself finished and I am using the word watching very loosely. Since the anime was so awful, I skipped through most of the episodes. 1/10 would never watch again. If the asshole Gon had died I would have liked it better.

The characters, world building, the power systems, Hunter x Hunter is everything I could ever wanted

but its a bit abnormality among shounens. for such fight centered anime its funny that first time MC firghts is way past 50ep

Summer 2021. That was THE anime summer for me, so I couldn't have enjoyed HxH more, I'm so happy about that.

Around 2019, I believe. Hunter x Hunter is one of the first, and one of the most impactful animes in my first ever days into anime. Hunter x Hunter is genuinely amazing for starters, because of how it subverts my expectation for anime in general. The way it starts lighthearted but then slowly gets more and more emotional and dark, that's when I started to think that maybe there was more into anime.
