Shin's battle with Haku'ou Koku has reached its dramatic (possibly controversial) conclusion.
Shin stands victorious.
The cheers from his victory reach every other battlefield the Hi Shin Unit is on.
This is the first step in taking down Han's capital.
What will become of Yoko Yoko? And will Tou take down Raku'a Kan as quickly as Shin did Haku'ou Koku?

Why would it be controversial?

holy fuck

what an epic finish to that fight. I love that Hara showed Haku'ou Koku a lot of respect by having him put up such a valiant effort against Shin

my only question is why did Yoko Yoko sit by and let this happen? to not offend Haku'ou Koku's pride? or bc he actually thought he could win?
must've been a very short fight for Denei and Denyuu to be able to hold Yoko Yoko off until Shin finished his fight

@GioGioBord I've already seen in some other forum people complaining about how Shin won already. I personally like the way this arc is being handled considering the gap in experience between Qin generals compared to Han Generals.

Two chapters back he was being engaged by the 3 Qin soldiers (the 2 Den's and an archer). I figured he was being held down in a way that did not allow him to give the assistance that was needed.

Yeah, I think that too. Also because Han's clearly the weakest state and having a campaign longer than 50 chapters would have been too much in my opinion. I would expect more epic and longer fight in the campaigns of states like Chu and Zhao, not Han. And still Hara was able to pull of such an amazing fight giving Haku'ou Koku the respect he deserved.

Ah there goes Haku'o Koku, he was a good guy, but he should have retreated, you gotta keep your head cool and retreat when needed, no shame in that, live to fight another day.

At least his victory wasn't all plot armour. There was a genuine reason due to the difference in experience, but would that really have that much of an impact?

Oh well, peak chapter!

All of us already knew that Shin would be the victor of the duel. Haku'ou Kaku has very little importance in the story. What will happen to Yoko Yoko now? We'll see if he will put up a long fight, or if he will be quickly defeated.

@Boomarko Some people think he will survive this battle to either protect the princess after Han falls or join the Hi Shin Unit later on in the story.
I personally hope that he is defeated by the Den's and Little Archer Bro so they can get finally some accolades.

@logic340 Yoko Yoko's survival would be an interesting development. I hadn't thought of that.

But I also agree that him being defeated by Shin's men would bring more attention to other soldiers who aren't Shin or other high-ranking generals.
