Good to know Grace is using her brains and knowledge about the student council.

It's still early in the show but she's taking risks and calculated strategies already. I'm starting to like Anna more. She might be playful at times but she brings an aura of energy at school.

I like the relationship of the main and his daughter before his death.
Normally in anime the relationship is either bad or strained with this type of character so seeing a good relationship is refreshing.
Grace changing her image is also nice it seems so is gaining a good reputation all around and the reactions are nice to watch.

Im actually very suprised by quality of this anime i thought it would be just as same as others with same type of anime. But character Grace had some dept in this episode from her past and old guy reincarnated into her is just perfect for this role cuz he is proper Japanese workinf guy who have good manners and etiquette. Everything fits so good. Im shocked.

It can't keep up with the very strong first episode but "Don't ask dwarf can it be fixed, ask how long will it take instead" is the coolest line in this season, I'm pretty sure even if we're only in the first month of the year.

I like how the anime did not treat Grace's character as a mere shell for Kenzaburo. It gives us a peek at Grace Auvergne's story from time to time. And it seems like she clearly hates herself and who she has become

Overall pretty solid 2nd episode, love how this story handles the Kenzaburo and Grace's Isekai quirk. Once in a while we get an anime in a overused trope/genre that sets itself apart from the rest of the stuff. Really solid humor, writing, and of course entertainment. This is a great adaption so far, this Isekai is "cooking" some good fun for us.

Now here's a guy who didn't need to get isekaied. He had such a good family, I hope he makes back somehow.

He/she literally gave up becoming a villainess already. I think he/she will assemble a similar type "harem"/followers like Bakarina. The magic system is somewhat unique too and she used it in her favour well. And father strats ar too strong for Josette

Really liked they are trying to expand the character of previous Grace. Normally they are not really mentioned any postively.

This ED is an absolute blast..

Wow grace is really using her smarts in the student council nice its refreshing to see that shes taking chances this early in the show, she must be working on some clever plans already lol i didnt expect to like anna so much but her energetic vibe is growing on me, she brings such a lively atmosphere to the school. The bond between the main character and his daughter before his passing is so heartwarming, its not often you see such positive relationships in anime. Its surprising how well this anime is turning out, i thought itd be just another typical show but grace has real depth. The way shes changing her image and gaining respect is so satisfying to watch, its nice seeing her become kinder and more approachable nice. The story doesnt just use grace as a vessel for kenzaburo, it gives glimpses into her own backstory, she seems to struggle with self-acceptance.

A good 2nd episode. There`s a story behind Grace`s "villainess" personality. It makes me curious whether that`s it or we`ll be getting more. I will definitely watch the next one.

I'll admit, I laughed when Grace forgot the name of the love interests, nice follow-up to last week's joke with the prince's name.
Also funny to see how every time she tries to be harsh with Anna, she makes her more smitten with her instead.
Now then, this episode had a bit less comedy than last time but it was nice to learn a bit more about this world's workings, to introduce and reintroduce some characters, and most importantly to learn more about Grace's past and personality (really loved the little explanation about why she is the way she is).

Another really good episode, looking forward to next week :)

All of this happening from the old guy's perspective before the accident should've been in the premiere episode,

but they did it at the start of this one instead. He's fully committed to playing the villain, but his actions say otherwise—he’s totally blowing his cover! 😂

The supposed romantic pairings have shown up, so who’s going to be their target? Anna or the old guy/Grace? 😂😂

Kenzaburou had a good life before he was reincarnated as Grace. He was very close to his family, especially his daughter, who introduced him to otaku culture. It's kind of sad to think about it, he might never see them again.

So, Grace was actually a good girl, and it's her strict guardians who turned her into a villain by forcing her to act like a "proper lady." That little backstory adds a lot of depth to Grace's character before Kenzaburou took control of her life. It makes her transformation all the more interesting.

that curry looks MIGHTY FINE

Man, what a swell guy, I'm aggrieved that the isekai deities took him away from a lovely family who cherished him, and he in turn them. I'd love an SoL series where the fam just gets up to their shenanigans, daughter with highschool antics and dad with Sakura Quest-style revitalization of the town.

The little details like decent animation on the golem, texture on the blacksmith tools, that FINE ASS CURRY, this anime is such a labor of love.

@Narizor, Kenzaburou from the beginning was an otaku, and his wife too. In the first ep he mentioned a lot of old shows. His daughter just told him about game itself.

I really loved how he is guiding people — even if he’s not trying, he just has a soul of a loving father.
I genuinely didn’t know that I needed this much fatherly love coming from an anime; this is peak cinema.

Loved the episode. Grace casually grabbing Anna's magic circle for her own, shutting down a golem, like an absolutely piece of cake, after showing off her flame magic amidst all the fellow students, aura 100 fr. Also Loved how the maids were terrified of her, but when Josette dropped the teapot & broke it, Grace was immediately ran to her to ask if she was hurt, feeding her sweets, completely obliterating the messed up rumors that were in Josette's mind. Couldn't help but burst outta laughter, tbh. Excited 4 the upcoming episodes!

We finally get to see the real Grace's true personality.
She was a kindhearted girl when she was a kid, but because of her lessons, she became twisted. How tragic...

P.S. MC wants to make an Abacus..... lmao
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I like that we got some backstory in this episode for not just Kenzaburou, but his villainess catalyst Grace as well. As much as Kenzaburou is enjoying his time in the otome game world, it’s pretty unfortunate he was taken from his happy family, I’m thinking there might come a time where we find out Anna is being controlled by his daughter and he actually is in the game, but I don’t know if he’ll ever get to go back to them, guess we’ll see about that. And from Grace’s backstory, looks like she was turned into a villainess over being forced to be ladylike and unable to do what she loves. That was a really wholesome moment with the dwarf near the end, so maybe through Kenzaburou, Grace’s life will be turned around for the better, he’s already doing a good job at that lol.

And the magic bit was pretty fun, I like the explanation about words having power in that world, it’s pretty simple but I think it’s cool, and through this Kenzaburou is able to use Japanese words instead, I guess even if the history isn’t within the game world they still have power, including a misspelt version of the worse pause lol, I just hope there doesn’t come a time where a completely different spell could come from a misspelling, or maybe I do because that would be interesting lol. And lastly I liked the bit with the red haired chibi maid, she was completely broken but cookies brought her back, I hope we see more of her.

This is one of those heartfelt shows where you care about the main and his family. I have no knowledge of source, but he has to go back. Hopefully he’s coma’d and not dead, Isekai Ojisan style. 18 years is too long tho, a year max…

I think if I turned into a woman, the first thing I'd do is check out my own body lol

but ofc Kenzaburou, the loving fatherly figure that he is, is above that, he's more worried about fit in in this world and do his best to be a villainess.

Already one of the greatest villainess shows ever lol. Grace is never beating the yuri route allegations I fear lmao. Everything she does just brings she and Anna closer and now she’s even got another gf in Josette 😂 great episode, went by way too quick!

It’s really cool that the author actually put a decent amount of thought and complexity into the magical system in this world and the inscriptions used to channel magic. Didn’t expect that. This show also has no business having the quality of animation and fluidity it does, the golem fight looked awesome!

Loved the last 9 minutes or so so much. Very sweet and wholesome. Josette’s an angel and it’s really cute that Grace’s villainess origin story is basically that she wanted to spend time with the gardener and blacksmith doing “outdoorsy”/“un-girly” things. Forced to conform to societal standards is enough to make anyone go evil!

MC is hyper competent, and yet completely oblivious to the sparkles of the 'affection up' notifications springing up around them. Normally that'd be obnoxious, but with the old man at the wheel it just turns it into prime comedy.

That ED is still unhinged and I love it.

Wow, oh my gosh, Kenzaburou (aka Grace, our MC) is one of the smartest villainess characters—and far smarter than the average protagonist in other anime genres too. He quickly realized that this new world is far more detailed than the otome game he's familiar with and wisely decided not to underestimate it or assume he already knows everything about it.

I am already in love with this show. It's a 10/10 in my eyes—absolutely perfect. I can't wait to see more!

Yes, it completely took me by surprise. The show avoided the usual trope of an outdoor magic lesson turning into a duel between the MC and a random student, or a sudden monster or dragon attack orchestrated by some master villain.

The magic system is incredibly well-designed and thought out. The concept of words granting magical powers based on their long-term history and current obscurity feels fresh and unique—at least, I haven't seen it used in anime before. Sure, many anime explore the idea of magic drawing power from words or language, but this take is something special.

I like it. I love it. I want more. In fact, I’d love to see more shows based on this author’s works if possible.

This is surprisingly fun, finally a show about someone good put into a villain position whose good deeds have positive consequences. I really liked how he was able to see into her childhood memories at the end, makes them actually feel like two separate characters instead of just the ojisan. Need more Josette noises. She's so cute!

Just as good and enjoyable as the first episode. Pleasantly surprised to see they are planning to give more exploration to Grace's character before her "villainess" phase. Kinda makes me wonder if there will be any interaction between her villainess self and Kenzaburou, as separate beings, later in the story.
