I didn't read the manga but got a spoiler that protagonist will end up with his wife .why the f*ck the author did this? He should have ended up with his childhood friend

This is the first new anime since Classroom of The Elitists that has made me think positively of Nippon school's special curriculum and system right off the bat. It is an insightful Tour des Fétiches for youth cultured grads, complete with gal, asses, childhood friend, thighs and people who steal your waifu/husbando, produced by studio MOTHER (WATANABE) with slightly darkened colouring so as to stimulate a sensation of mature subject matters, after all.

Read the manga then you'd understand. I wanted Shiori to win at first but I came to love Akari so much and I am beyond happy she's winning non stop.

If you read the manga you would know and Akari is so much better than Shiori anyway

Well, the whole series is about Akari and Jiro, why would he ever end up with the childhood friend?

It's clear from the start that Shiori exists as a means for character development. Both of them handle the fact that they loved each other but in the present it wouldn't work, at least from Jiro's side.

IMO, it's handled well, read the manga.

Anime only here - even as someone who hasn't read the manga I agree that Akari is the right one. Both her and Shiori are nice girls but.. the dynamic with Akari is different than the one with Shiori.. Akari is the one.

“I got a spoiler” - proceeds to spoil it for other people too. I know it’s pretty obvious because that’s how these stories go but at least have a little consideration for other people man. You clearly don’t care about the story enough to even read the manga so why even post about it. Just because something got spoiled for you doesn’t mean you have the right to spoil things for everyone else. It’s not even a big deal but I hate when people are so careless about that sort of thing.

If it wasn’t for the fact that they are forced to live together as a *wife* and a *husband*, they wouldn’t have loved each other. The outcome would be different if the school didnt do that system. But oh no, the school makes minors live together as husbands and wives, whilst ruining any previous relationships because they are “experimenting”.

Shiori is such a damn wet blanket it's obvious from the word go that the only reason she's even in the running is Jirou is huffing the nostalgia hard. *She* turned down *him* for a dumb damn reason, and she can't just go up to him and say 'I screwed up back then, and I'm ready for a relationship now'? This is all on Shiori, and Akari had a TON of character growth through even just the first season of the anime. She went from a borderline mean girl to someone who's caring and tender towards Jirou. She earned it, Shiori didn't.
