The curse still lingers on but it's good to see the series back again.

Tbh, not much really has changed, at least in terms of their world setting and content. Tinasha is still show I remember her as although her relationship with Oscar has really bloomed since their first encounter. More or less like a setup episode but I'm expecting a lot more developments from both of them.

Act 2 of novelist Kuji Furumiya's Unnamed Memory after last Spring's disastrous adaptation, let's just see how bad ENGI will screw the remainder of the LN's adaptation.

TRUE's OP may not compete with Tei's Season 1 perfection of an OP, but it's decent for the tonal shift for Act 2. Yuika's 2nd ED is much more subtle this time, and also fine as well.

Oscar's visit to King Calste of Tuldarr to find solutions to relieve himself of the witch's curse, and there is one who can help him: Mila of the 12 Spirits alongside her familiar of dragon Nark, beigning him to see a Tinasha that he doesn't know, the timeline has once again been reset.

The Witch of the Azure Moon, now on 2 sides of the spectrum being Oscar's bride to help lift his curse, as well as Tuldarr's next Queen, has a life that is now crucial to the choices she makes that'll determine the fate of the future. And to have wyverns attacking her alongside a Farsas mage from Molcado, the speculations of Tinasha being a witch sin't far off from being noticed. The Aetea festival's festivities in full order, but the murderous intent from animal blood being spat against the Killer Witch Queen herself, as well as her own insecurities being the "same same but different" person, this is a new chapter of Tinasha with Oscar, of a history that doesn't exist anymore.

It's a slow start, but it's a much better, though decent return.

Well, I hope the second timeline will be better than the first one. Better in not just happier ending but also more fun and less facepalm situation.

Okay so Unnamed Memory is back. Totally new timeline after the first cour’s reset at the end which I still don’t understand but whatever lol. Still just as confusing this time around because the pacing feels rushed again.

Like every scene feels like 20 pages of a book, even as an anime only it’s just so apparent they’re skipping a lot. It genuinely feels like whole scenes and dialogues are missing. Like how did Oscar go from being so distrusting of Tinasha to warming up to her 2 mins later at the end of the ep? Idc if it’s a perfect adaptation, but at least slow down so we can follow along lol.

It’s going to be interesting to have Tinasha as the aggressor this time around in terms of the romance. Pretty sad that she remembers everything while Oscar doesn’t, but that’s just an opportunity to fall in love again! We’ll see how it goes. OP seems like it’ll have more action this time around, hopefully it looks as good as that dragon fight there at the start did. ENGI have to balance this and medalist this season.

Found it funny how Tinasha got all flustered when Oscar asked if he could marry her, like girl cmon you’ve been thru this before lmao. New red haired girl is cute as well!

I like Oscar and Tinasha a lot, both as a ship and as individual characters. Oscar is a very no-nonsense type of person. One of the reasons I've stuck around until now is because I love his personality.

Garbage treatment to a great fantasy novel series, they knew they had 2 cours and some how fucked this up completely. Everything is garbage, the only praise I can give this adaptation is the little segments of good animation

the directing, ost, character design, story telling, it all fucking sucks. Fuck you engi, fuck you everyone who was involved yall fucking suck

Now that was sad. Tinasha has become such a simp, opposite of her past memories. And the one who knew everything has lost his memories. Such an interesting story. Only if the adaptation wasn't rushed

This looks interesting!
I hope it will be better than season 1. So, Oscar doesn’t remember his previous life.

It would be nice if they two got married and Tinasha to be a queen.

Loved it, but are we skipping time every cut we get again, like in Season 1? Felt like missing sceenes again.

I think I'll like it but it's disappointing that it seems like we're getting some more slapdash storytelling.

It's back? lmao 😭😭😭
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Well I am crying already 😭

As she said this is completely a new chapter of their story. Both of them don't remember the what happened in the beginning of their relationship. From MC met her in witch tower, till the day they got married- they remember nothing.

Our MC that travelled back in the past should've been a little more selfish! Some might hate me for this but think about it, she was saved in the future. Even I feel like this Oscar (MC) is different from season 1. If he would've been a little more selfish he would've saved both of them from being in this situation in season 2 (the completely clueless situation that is)!
Well all in all they will just fall in love with each other again but I will still like their interaction/love story in season 1 more.

And maybe this the reason this anime is called "Unnamed Memory" only the audience will remember that memory but no one else from anime! The only thing left to discover here is why the witch of silence cursed him. Let's hope we get that answer.

I questioned myself, why am I still watching this? The answer to which I didn't know, not untill I finished the episode and realised that this shit is not worth continuing after all. Will never like any sort of reset the world shit which makes everything pointless and this episode, Tinasha reminded me that the Oscar and Tinasha I knew doesn't exist anymore and this is a story of some strangers. Onto the trashcan it goes.

Oh yeah forgot to mention but Nark was adorable.

im very happy to see the animation got better since s1, for whatever reason, be it budget or the team just got better at what they do

that aside, im also glad that even tho our original couple from s1 is "gone" they both made sacrifices for each other to give these new versions of themselves a chance at real happiness

ahhh, i love this, im such a corny bastard :>

Well, I almost forgot we were getting the 2nd part of this. Hopefully it will wash away the awful taste of the End of Season 1! I pray this is so.

Bruh, seeing Tinasha cry breaks my heart. But I understand. They're not the duo we knew from last season. They're entirely different versions from another timeline so ofc he won't remember or know shit about her. I just hope hope hope he somehow remembers and realizes he's the one she's always thinking about when looking at him but I guess she feels conflicted since the Oscar she knew was an entirely different one from another timeline. So complex yet intriguing.

The manga is very good, the LN is amazing. Just wish s1 wasn't so rushed, smh. Fucked up what was supposed to be a beautiful anime.

Very good beginning episode of the second split cour of the series with atrocious direction and screenplay hugely compensated by its nice couple of brutes, Oscar and Tinasha!

Tinasha began bringing back her husband Oscar and her happiness being his wife...

I am hoping that somehow the memories of season 1 Oscar and Tinasha get merged into season 2 later on and then we can continue with the greatness of season 1 before the big reset that pissed everyone off. Oscar picked up that magic blue ball but there was a similar ball that was red. Maybe Oscar can pick up the red ball in season 2 and then the memories of Oscar and Tinasha from the two different timelines will be joined.

As an anime only, I don't give a shit about the LN or it being a bad adaptation, I just care about what I see in front of me, and that's a decent start to the second act of an anime I found enjoyable. Very interested to see where this one ends up.

Haters gonna hate, cope seethe mald etc.

mhm everything lined up pretty closely to what i imagined from S1 into S2. with the first timeline essentially erased, only Tina and a few others recognize the new timeline's Oscar but that is about it. Tina's country was never destroyed by her reaction to her attempted sacrifice/murder as a child. somehow, and i still don't 100% exactly get how Oscar was still exactly the same, curse and everything... all the people of his palace seem the same...

one surprise though, Tina is barely a teenager. i guess without any need for massive healing she hasn't aged in her suspended animation. and i'm not exactly certain she technically is a witch any longer. without absorbing the insane numbers of souls of her destroyed kingdom... she's not godly OP anymore... just really really damn good at what she does and knowledgeable about magic.
just an ol school American otaku enjoyin the life. don't sass me kiddies, i've been otaku probably since before you were born. leave me in peace and i won't bother you either.

First episode of the second season, very good

At the beginning of the episode, some doubts arise about what is happening, but the episode itself explains it well.
I liked that they “erased” them both from existence, because of that act of his, now they are “new” people with other personalities, it’s interesting.

My question is: at some point will it show or reappear what both were like in the past? Well, who knows.

Even though I'm happy there's a second season, I still haven't gotten over that ending of the first season... Because even though it's Tinasha and Oscar, I know they're no longer the same as in the previous timeline, and those versions of them can never be together again, because they no longer exist, along with everyone else from that timeline... Such a sad thing (T^T).

the art-style has improved, however they're looks like rushing the manga this time, it looks like Tinasha still have her memories about Oscar, but we don't know yet about Oscar, looks compromising, interesting episode.
