Things are looking good for Chinatsu's team. They'll win this one I think.

This chapter seems to have finally set up an end to the Yumeka character and subplot. I would even dare say it is worse than Kyou-Ayame (love Kyou but he was done incredibly dirty)

This chapter clearly shows what the author wanted to do with her but damn, is it poorly done and dragged.

But tbh, author lost me when she was turned into an NBA level one in a billion talent that is the second coming of plot armor Jesus with the best possible god given environment that would make even Eden jealous.
60+% of her life not spent actively training, not actively playing the sport itself, not making connections etc. but she somehow is in her prime best form ever after some months, known nationwide and is being trained by olympia winners.
This goes way beyond talent. This is a once in history miracle.

When she was introduced, she definitely seemed like a forced character for the character development of main character.

I thought this chapter was great! I don’t know what the fuss is all about. This whole game between these two characters was built up masterfully. The way they told the story of Chinatsu first learning the game of basketball as a kid, to meeting her friend Yumeka, to years later they play for Nationals. This feels like a poetic story of a rising athlete like we see in real life.

I hear the big complaint is that they made Chinatsu a all star, future basketball, hall of famer, Olympic medal winning, god lol. First of all, people like this exist in real life. Ya know, kids in high school are scouted to see if they can compete at a college or even a pro level right? Second of all, WHATS WRONG WITH THAT?! Chinatsu is a great, realistic portrail of a young and up and coming athlete! Above all else, she’s just super likable!

I mean please, end this match already. I seriously don't want to read any more of Yumeka and her talent and how she inspired Chinatsu.

We've been doing that for the last so many fucking chapters that now it honestly feels tiring.
