It’s a sub-genre but not the main focus of the plot lol check the Wikipedia it’s a Supernatural/horror along with an Sol aspect which turns out to be a BL relationship

However, HGSN is a monthly series so the chapters are both quite long and also quite dense and the atmosphere often contemplative. I think going one to two chapters per episode could work well here, but unfortunately they might not have the budget that'd allow a pace that slow. Then again, cygames has that good, good gacha money and if they want to spend it on a two cour season of HGSN? Well I'm not about to complain hahaha |

The author has stated at least twice at this point that it isn’t a BL, regardless of what people label it as. That also doesn’t mean that the characters aren’t gay because they are lol. |

| Everything I've seen from Cygames Pictures looked absolutely incredible. Uma Musume, Princess Connect, Manaria Friends... A spin off to Shingeki no Bahamut had business looking that amazing. |
