the genius marketing and banger intro baited us to watch the most awful comedy anime i have ever seen
this is the anime equivalent of peppa pig where the characters and narrator treat its wiewers as complete morons that we dont get the joke when I can see it coming form a mile away

Call it what you want, if you are devoid of humour or just too highbrow to allow yourself to laugh at something only a common person would find funny.
I get humour is subjective, but most of the complainers regarding this show are just using it as a way to look down their noses at the inferior rabble.
BTW I thought it was a good effort, made me lol plenty.

To be honest, I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes. That would be all. The rest felt just forced comedy which doesn't work. Noticed it quite quickly in the third episode.

It was pretty standard absurdist and boke/tsukkomi comedy. I liked it. Maybe it helps that I know what to expect with the trope they were going for.

I feel bad for you all who had to force yourselves to finish it, that happened to me last year with a different series.

The show was good for the first few episodes but later it drags on the same comedic jokes which we wouldnt find funny because it is already used 1000th times.

its not my thing. i felt the same about azumanga daioh and nichijou but i enjoyed those for their slice of life aspects but wasnt a fan of that in this. i didnt hate it though. 6/10 for me

Yes! Things that made me chuckle were completely lost on my friends just because they didn't have experience with deer that's accustomed to living with humans.
