| Wow, this episode was phenomenal! The animation quality continues to be top-notch, and it’s such a joy to watch. I wasn’t really a fan of the SF-Zoo crew as a whole, so seeing them wiped out felt satisfying in that sense. That said, I really appreciated the focus on their leader’s characterization in this episode. It was great to learn a little more about her outside the game, which gave some insight into who she is as a person and how that shapes her in-game persona. More background information like this always adds depth to the story, so I’m glad they took the time to show it here. I am happy that SF-Zoo didn't gain much useful intel from their encounter. It keeps Sunraku ahead in the ongoing information battle, which is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing parts of the series. What really stood out for me, though, was Sunraku’s inner conflict. Watching him wrestle with his choices had me on the edge of my seat. I was so relieved when Rei-shi pulled him back to his senses. Her line about just enjoying the moment was such a powerful way to anchor him, and it was easily my favorite part of the episode. Plus, it feels like Rei-shi is making real progress toward her romantic goals with Sunraku—it’s subtle but meaningful. That development is so satisfying to see. And don’t even get me started on the hype for the next episode! Psyger-0 and Sunraku teaming up has all the makings of a legendary fight scene. I have no doubt it’ll be some of the best action we’ve seen all season, and I can’t wait to see how their dynamic plays out in battle. |

| As we wrap up the last episode of the year Lycaon comes back unexpectedly thanks to Pencilgon tricking SF-Zoo into a way for activating Rabituza's unique scenario. As it turns out they really thought this through and while they come out as quite freaks one can feel more sympathetic after learning about their leader's issue with allergies. They are freaks but aren't hurting anybody... that we know of. Anyways, Lycaon quickly dispatches them and it's time for Sunraku to take a shot at it with the help of Rei although due to political interests he initially had quite the monologue where he was seriously debating throwing off the fight. That's where best girl comes in to remind him of the reason why he was playing in the first place: to have fun. Yeah, there might me consequences with the alliances but is that more importante than having this opportunity to try and take on this monster in what might the highlight of this season in a multiepisode fight? Onwards. |

| Furries were taken care of and Rabbituza is safe for another day. Good boy, Lycaon. Dope episode with Lycaon slaughtering SF-Zoo members left and right. Also good to see Sunraku realizing he was taking the game way too seriously. Looking forward to seeing him and Rei giving their all in the upcoming battle. |

| @poisonedbite Even if that's true well for one 1. Spoiler (unless you just assumed that it was or I somehow missed someone specifically point that out in the show but I really don't think I did.) 2. She's clearly still wearing armor on her face so it doesn't work the same so It is unique. 3. It being from Siegwurm would already make it different enough. Essentially there's no way they are gonna have another character have the exact same thing happen to them as Sunraku with Lycagon. I just don't see that happening from a writing standpoint. That's like having "two boys with a lightning scar". It's clearly an intentional design choice for Sunraku. So with "unique" I don't mean like "A UNIQUE" like in the game that it's impossible for anyone else to have it, by "unique" I simply mean from a character design perspective. Which brings me to: 4. It is unique because that's a different scar and her whole character design is wildly different from Sunraku. |

| Hmm, Sunraku has a legitimate shot at defeating Lycagon and has Rei, whom is impressive in her own right, to help him out. Having said that, I wonder if fighting Lycagon means that he ends up missing getting to his destination on time. |

| The rematch with Lycagon, something which Sunraku has got experience fighting against when he was new to SLF, the fear within him is just as real as it can be from the start. SF-Zoo being prepared for Lycagon with tanks and debuffers but no DPS, its presence is deafening, but not threatening to Animalia as they think they can outlast against the Nightslayer. And with their strategy, it looks like it'll do the trick, but Sunraku knowing the intriate details Pencilgon fed to the clan leader, with her usual lack of fine details that could determine victory or defeat, he's just waiting for the Colossi to bring out its trump card. And within the night sky that transforms into the darkness itself, that's where the name truly implies: the Nightslayer of another Lycagon, a shadow clone. It's an irony that Animalia wanted to pet animals despite being allergic in real life, and the shadow clone itseff is an extension of the darkness with its invisible attacks. It's also in the case where Sunraku now knows the full extent of Lycagon's attack thanks to it annihilating SF-Zoo, but it could trigger the Bonus Unique Scenario from under Psyger-0's hands, and at this point, there's no turning back against asking Psyger-0 for advice, for as much as Rei tried to interact with him, either in-game or in real life. That's where Sunraku gets his awakening, to just enjoy the fight that's in front of him now, clans or otherwise. It's a real partnership between the cross-world "couple" against a fellow Colossi, and Sunraku means for real this time. |
