| Yeah Kanata needs that upgrade. Could already guess the result but still. Just by 50cm too. Forgot that Sawatari was a creep like that. His race with Michael was exciting. Now if only he wasn't a creep. Aiba now knows the possible age of nanaban chan. Is he still gonna aim for her. Drama with Mami too? Cause Kanata lost her contact lol. Anyway was wondering why the godly fifteen was so underwhelming and this latest race showed their lack of skills. So Ryousuke had put a limit untill MFG gained enough traction and two racers surpassed Keisuke's lap time. Got hyped watching Kanata with Moroboshi Sena at the end. Takumi and Keisuke's disciple. Got hyped looking at the new KV/PV with the upgraded 86 too. |

| This season's race concludes. Akaba crossed first by a small margin, unlucky for Kanata, but reaching that spot in an 86 should be something to be proud of. 5th in the standings overall. Sawatari requested Angel 7 specifically damn, Shun is pissed. Another angel wants Kanata, too. Of course, fellow racer Nozomi is jealous. Sawatari should use his brainpower to analyze the race more than a 17 year olds body. Keisuke not being impressed with the godly 15 must mean he was holding back doing the demo runs lol. Now Kanata's broken through the mold, it's time for Keisuke. to send out his own student to participate. As long as they use a Toyota, they can change cars. Ogta suggests a Supra, but Kanata still has eyes for the 86. All that talk about the Supra and one actually rolls into Ogata's shop. It's a yellow car, which can only mean Keisuke Takahashi's student, the one fated to race Takumi Fujiwara's student in MFG, Moroboshi Sena of Dream Project (alluding to Project D). | Yea figures that Kanata didn’t get the win. This is gonna be a long running series so would’ve made no sense for him to come in first this soon. Fifth is still great considering the circumstances and his experience and gives him plenty of room for growth the upgrades to the 86. Bro was heartbroken when he found out Ren was 17 lmaooo π these racers are down so bad for the MF girls. Dream project has showed up, new rivals for Kanata? Next ep should be interesting |

| Aiba charged into the corner and forced Sakamoto to run wide, making contact in the process. Max Verstappen would be proud. And looks like the Lonely Drivers gang will be back in the next episode. |
| I'm gutted that Kanata couldn't pull off a huge upset as the Ferrari edges him by only 50cm. Kanata did correctly call it back in episode 6 when his lead over the Ferrari earlier on lap 3 wasn't enough. Still, he did himself proud by finishing that high up the leaderboard. I also couldn't help but chuckle when both Aiba and Nozomi respectively got irritated, first with Sawatari choosing Ren to kiss him on the cheek, then one of the other MFG angels giving Kanata her contact details, which ironically got blown away in the wind after falling out of Kanata's back pocket. Divine intervention perhaps? XD Keisuke commenting that the "Godly Fifteen" aren't impressive at all shows how high his standards are. Now we'll see if his judgement was correct or not as he's allowed to have one of his own students join MFG, who not only drives a Toyota GR Supra, but also sports the same yellow colour as Keisuke's own Mazda RX-7 FD. It's also interesting to see Kanata's GT86 getting a turbocharger upgrade. Going from 200hp to 300hp is the reasonable choice here, but having a turbo upgrade for a naturally aspirated car means the car will behave a bit differently due to the turbo itself. Knowing Kanata, I'm sure he'll get in good practice to get used to this before the 3rd race. Overall, this was a fun episode. The fangirls (and fanboys) must be loving the short scene of Kanata shirtless and seeing how well built he is. =P |

| if this gets a 3rd season i sure in hell arent watching it with how bad this is. the build up to which one of the two red cars wins and it was very anticlimactic. it was literally just "car 2 got ahead" no cool battle or internal monologue about how they are going to deal with it. car 2 guy was like "ill do that" which is nothing but would have been fine if kanata would have been show at all. why werent we shown his reaction to being passed? and the angels thing. sure some scenes with them during the race is fine but there are too many and the "top 3 gets to pick the girls who kiss them" is ridiculously dumb and so is the whole side plot of that one guy being in love with angel 7 |

| Kanata did an amazing job putting the distance with his GT86 from Akaba and his Ferrari, but then again, Akaba himself showed some insane driving skill as he galloped down the wet roads, holding the reins to his Italian stallion with finesse. That's how he was able to catch up and take the 3rd spot from Kanata by a mere half a meter! Well done on both of them! Their dogfight on the last stretch was pure adrenaline rush! Uh oh, it's time for Aiba to realize that he's been fawning over an underage girl making him no better than Sawatari lol. Bro is shocked! Well then, now that the race is over, it's time for some UPGRADES! The GT86 has received some suspension tuning and brake kits so far, but no matter how skilled Kanata is, their race in MFG is not always curvy corners and downhill straights, that GT86 NEEDS SOME MO POWAH!!! A Turbo huh, I'm liking where this is going! |

| At last, this race has come to an end. It had several cool moments, but roughly 90% of it was boring as heck. Kanata is about to upgrade his car. Good. I'm curious how high Keisuke's apprentice's skills will be. Prolly high as heck, hehe. Ayo, wasn't that Iketani and Itsuki on the next episode's preview?! |

| The ending notes, starting with Shun's NSX vs. Sakamoto's Audi R8, as well as Kanata's 86 vs. Akaba's Ferrari, and the deferment of Sawatari in his Alpine losing to Beckenbauer, the Top 2 are the norm, but for once, the fight for 3rd has become the fierce intense battle with Akaba winning by a hair of 50cm, and Shun taking advantage of Sakamoto's chickening out to take 6th. Welp, Ren being requested for Sawatari certainly fires up his game to do better, and while Kanata getting a fellow Angel's contact is one thing, Shun getting the dread that Ren is not the girl that he thinks she is from her complexity, it just proves the creep within him. And as executives like Keisuke Takahashi that go before them would oversee MFG as it is today, I find it agreeable that MFG is not like Initial D, the competitiveness is just so bland. Anywho, Sawatari seeking his date with Sana, and Kanata getting the rest that he needs whilst the 86 would need a turbo, just swapping the car out for a Supra, which came with Sena Moroboshi under Keisuke's Dream Project, this is the new foe that would help push to new heights. |

| Was hoping for a miracle but looks like it's an inevitable outcome. Now I'm really hoping Kanata's car gets a huge upgrade so he can properly contest for the top 3 spot. Sorry Ren but Kanata's clueless as fuck things won't go as you expected lol |
