Need quick clarifications for Episode 7

That's certainly what I understood from this scene. I'd also say it's possible Silky was born from the spirits of the mother and the daughter, as Aira refers fo "them" as she's fading away.

Well, crap. This episode really left my mouth open all the way just really pain attention eyes wide open. It’s one of those episode that it’s not funny. It’s not fully action impact. It’s an episode that a lot of other shows have that really makes you wanna pay attention.

Spot on! I won’t spoil anything of course, but the manga does a better job of making things clear. The adaptation of this episode was great, but I think certain parts might have confused some that haven’t read the manga, for example the mom dancing off the roof. It’s much more explicit in the manga, which I prefer, but I see why they toned it down a bit in the anime, especially given the main subject of the episode being abuse, suicide, and child kid napping. Overall, your interpretation was great, and I don’t think I would’ve gotten all that it if I hadn’t read it first so props to you!

Minor spoiler here: in the manga, it is heavily implied that the child dies as well, although it is never explicitly stated. There’s a panel with both the mother spirit and the child walking into “a kinder world” as Aira puts it.

You are so fucking correct here, couldn't have said it better myself 🙏 this in manga form was already a sad tragic story.. but this animation for the episode made me feel things I didn't know I could feel from that moment 😭😭

the animation of this episode was heartbreaking. so much emotion in just the beginning scene alone, and I knew from that point that the episode was gonna make me cry!

I love this anime so much.

also, i can see how some people may have been confused about the episode. your points, I think, will be helpful for those individuals.
