I rly liked Hina and how this show portrays her emotions. Also I find it painful and interesting at the same time that Chinatsu senpai guessed and thinks that Hina likes Taiki.

I know he likes Chinatsu and all, but Hina has been there the whole time! Has she fallen into the childhood friend = chopped liver friend zoned trap? I feel a bit sad for her.

But I'm sure his friend likes her so maybe there's another ship about to sail?

great episode, I love when side characters get development in shows, the only thing I didn't like is the dumb troupe where the love interest thinks they are getting in the way

Taiki and Chinatsu's secret is out of the bag for the most vulnerable person in the relationship, and she naturally pops the question, which Chinatsu is assured...?

Taiki being forced to reveal the truth to Hina, this is definitely the biggest shock to her because he didn't confine with her about the issue, and the subtle confusion of her feelings to add into the matter. And nothing matters more than making it into the nationals since everyone has high hopes for Hina, other than her good friend being into Chinatsu but not of the mindset of dating until they achieved their goals.

The buildup of Hina's feelings for Taiki accumulating practice after practice, it speaks volumes above the obvious expectations, and the more that she thinks about either one of them (or more towards Taiki), more focus is lost, and I truly admire Hina for taking her step forward like Oshi no Ko's Kana. But one slip of the hand where she fell from an accidental bump causing her ankle to be in pain, her independence hurts her all the more since Taiki is good-natured in heart to even have him listen to her rants. The simple gesture of wishing Hina luck, even if forcing it verbally, has worked out for her.

Despite bumping into each other at the same osteopathic clinic, Taiki is happy for Hina, and Chinatsu is feeling like she's a 3rd party in their relationship that's only all for her basketball aspirations. The problem is: how long will this love triangle torture endure?

Oh this is getting complicated, but I really like the Hina development in this episode, she's definitely in love with Taiki and now she's getting jealous of Chinatsu, and it seems like Chinatsu is understanding the situation...

Alright was NOT expecting that at the beginning! The cliffhanger we got from the last episode seemed to have suggested that Hina, in shock and maybe even despair, would simply walk away. But NOPE, she looks again at Chinatsu's phone in her hand, stands up and faces them head with a "WTF ARE YOU GUYS DOING EHHH???" Impeccable. Best girl hands down. No competition. It ain't even close. It's not even just her, but her whole story and what she's going through; it all is more compelling than Chinatsu's. Like damn, seeing her 'roll' her ankle in slow motion was like an arrow to the heart.

So has Hina.... declared WAR??!! And what's this..? Has Chinatsu perhaps been, taken aback a little from Taiki talking about Hina in such a way? :O Whatever's going on, I'm glad Hina didn't actually get injured. Too much potentially needless drama can stem from obligatory injury arcs in sports anime. This one is keeping everything bright and lively as its artstyle.

A Hina-focused episode this time around and while I've never been that much of a fan of her, I do appreciate the series letting her not just have the misunderstandings of the situation she observed drag out too long in forcing unnecessary, prolonged drama and instead, do what makes sense with her established nature already and confront the situation directly with the two of them. The idea of Taiki and Chinatsu's relationship becoming more and more tangible and realistic given their situation and the support they provide each other beyond just Taiki's feelings one-way does make it a bit frustrating for Hina to deal with on top of expectations she's annoyingly burdened with by others, but with Taiki's help when she was 'injured', there is more clarity to her to be a warrior and not exactly quit mid-way. Still some misunderstandings are lingering but it's mainly on Chinatsu's side when looking at Taiki and Hina's interactions and relationship and 'being in the way' for the time being, still a lot of time is there for the relationships to evolve rather than her instantly fall in love with Taiki and resort to competing against Hina for his feelings. Some of the drama is a bit over-the-top at times but the pacing was pretty good and they allowed Hina's feelings and thoughts to be explored well and adding a bit of depth beyond just childhood friend and love-triangle conflicts given the already high expectations established clearly that she has to deal with from everyone.

The drawings are nice but sometimes, the moving panels for certain bigger shots instead of being animated can be a little distracting at times. Music accompanying this episode was strong.

Oh boy, this is getting very interesting. Hina is feeling down because of Taiki and Chinatsu living together, and we get the idea that she actually likes Taiki. Hina's practice is off, as she's thinking too much about Taiki, expectations from the school because she's the daughter of national champion, and more. Even when she was slightly hurt, she felt like she wanted to be left alone. This episode completely focused on Hina. Despite this, she decided to focus on herself and ended up winning the prefectural competition. Chinatsu's conversation with Hina and later with Taiki about Chinatsu's win, however, resulted in her thinking that Taiki and Hina make a good pair. She feels like she's in the way now. Does she feel anything for Taiki? Kyou is on the sidelines watching everything happen, and he feels it's about to get interesting. It's official. It's a love triangle.

It was bound to happen. This episode has made things a bit more complicated, and I'm here for it. I feel so bad for Hina. This wasn't a happy episode, but we can't always have happy resolutions for minor misunderstandings. Now very deep feelings are involved, and it's not goig to be resolved so easily. Someone is going to get hurt emotionally.
