| Holy shit. What a crazy episode. I really regret not watching this episode sooner. I really thought that the guy Marika's mom was dating was somewhat decent. It's not every day that a guy would go for a divorcee with a kid. But of course, it had to come with a catch. He's a filthy cheater. What a complete 180 from the last episode. Almost feels cheap cause nothing about him previously indicated that he'd be such a person. Anyway, I wish Chika had confronted him in front of his actual family. Would've served the bastard right. Crazy how this guy was thinking of moving in with his girlfriend while he already had a wife and kid... The dude was trying to play the double life. But instead of being Bruce Wayne and Batman he was just a guy cheating on his wife. Not being able to enjoy the amusement park brought back some not-so-great memories for me. But what Chika and Marika went through was 10 times worse... This episode really hit me right in the feels. It sucks cause Chika was trying to do better too... But that asshole had to ruin it and now she's probably in a worse situation than she was in before. Even her own mom is a leech... And her daughter isn't really her daughter. There's really no one she can call her own... I know she did bad things but it's hard not to feel any sympathy for her. And then there was that ending. Holy shit. I didn't think the cat would be out of the bag this soon. Tho I really wonder what the heck Keisuke is gonna say to Marika's mother. I thought it was pretty understanding of him not to be hurt by Marika potentially moving away or not spending Christmas with them. But I really wonder if he's NOT gonna say something incriminating... The dude's been a bit hit or miss so far because of his airheaded nature. I really hope this one's going to be a hit. What a crazy cliffhanger. Can't wait to see what happens next. |

| Man they really portrayed the cycle of abuse quite well, no matter if a child is raised in a terrible household, that's what they're instilled with, and the cycle repeats itself. |

| Damn that Urawaka-san guy. He already has a family, huh. She had the right to destroy that guy's family. The tension is rising! Marika's mother found out about it! LETS GO, BATTLE between parents! "Parents discipline their children because they want them to grow. But you haven't considered why she's not telling you anything. You're just scolding her. That's not the right way to go about it." -Keisuki Niijima Also, if Niijima and Shiraishi become married in writing, there would probably be no problem. But it would be weird. |
