| When all of this will be said and done, I can’t wait to see the drastic change over everything related to turbo granny, I mean lol, but yeah that will be what it will be, though for now I’m super impressed with whatever they did to make the turbo granny and the entire tunnel raid look. You can actually feel the atmosphere there, and turbo granny’s will to rightfully retain what’s not her… Okarun’s things. Reading all that crude language(the teenage stuff, I mean they talk like that) while reading the manga always had me wonder if they’d actually go with the same in the adaptation, and yeah, they fucking have lol. Literally can’t even describe whatever the fuck in the name of jesus was going on with the entire chase scene out in the open town, I mean.. creepy? Nah, need to find a better term. Knew they’d nail the train scene, and of course they fucking did. Seiko will always be THE woman, and yeah that status still hasn’t changed till this date in the manga. Seriously, they thought they can make us feel this is the end, but yeah, discovery of a lifetime will come soon. |

| Momo putting full use of her abilities is impressive. I knew she wasn't going to hold back but seeing her improve is inspiring. Definitely an interesting usage of soundtrack and chereography this episode. Momo and Okarun looked like they went through hell. Seiko is still absolutely hilarious to watch imo for her shenanigans. Character chemistry in this anime is off the charts. |

One wants to live by the misuse the logic of "ladies first" and the other is guilt tripping with fake tears.... scratch that, just an adorable face because NO tears came outta Momo lmao. But yeah, the finally made it back to the tunnel where it all started and right off the bat Turbo Granny on her dumb shit, using her eyes as a mouth and such xD Really do hope that every fight has it's own unique color, which is what this anime has really been emphasizing most of all. Like the battle at Momo's house was grey like the spirit they were fighting, and this one was just red like Turbo Granny. Regardless, they set the 2v1 with Turbo Granny, and already on her cheating shit immediately, and traps Momo, leaving Okarun by himself to suckle her tits.... ey, she DID ask for them to be sucked in the first episode tbf. They get the whole thing over with rather quickly though, and they turn Turbo Granny into an eel of some sorts idk lol. Which just leads to the bound spirit best girl Seiko was talking about last episode to chase after them now instead of Turbo Granny lmao. One very well animated chase scene later and we're at the bottom of an onsen, to which they fry the crab ofc and saving the day!.... or not because even MORE spirits start chasing them now.. sigh. They have to fight, duh, but you know, running away is always a viable option, which they do, with Okarun running like normal, while Momo just becomes Spider-Man for a second there wtf lol. Don't remember that being the manga, but I'll take it (the Beethoven track in the back was the cherry on top btw xD) They get on a train, the Takasaki line to be exact, a train known for it's top speed of 120 km/h, which just leads to Kamikoshi... which means that they ACTUALLY SUCCESFULLY EXCORISED TURBO GRANNY!!! With her remain in this beautiful ass scene.  Poor Okarun afterwards though, dude was NOT tryna have no crab after what had just happened, meanwhile, Seiko and Momo were just bickering and fighting over a piece of it lmao. Then dude gets investigated to see if he actually got his dick back, but maybe that'll be saved for another day. Making this arc come to a close, with Momo and Okarun not saying goodbye, but see you tomorrow <33333 From here on, let the TRUE Dandadan BEGIN. |

| the first 4 episodes are the pilot of dandadan and the end of the first arc as well , so i think people who haven't started watching dandadan will be happy by watching the first four episodes in bulk, and it will feel like a movie. |
| Folkloric creature of the week: Giant enemy crab! Turbo Granny's soul finally being put to rest is bittersweet not just becasue of the truth behind her, but also since it means Okarun won't get to have a badass transformation anymore (or at least for a while) |

| Best episode for the fall 2024 season so far, this episode is the top 3 episode this year for sure. With how this episode is very well directed, the pacing is quite fast but fun to follow, the animation doesn't need to be asked Science Saru knows what to do, and the OST is my favorite part of this episode, I will never stop glazing over Kensuke Ushio. The episode starts with the cuteness of Momo and the titan head in the tunnel. What surprised me the most was how Okarun got the idea to bite Turbo Granny's boobs is CRAZZYY. It's crazy with how powerful Turbo Granny is in her territory, she has a huge Crab filled with spirits and a zombie army. The highlight of this amazing episode is definitely the part where Momo tells Okarun to just trust her and Okarun believes her and transforms as usual, and this is where the coolest moment begins. The OST is very cool by mixing Overture Finale and Can Can music into one which is a pretty damn cool OST in a Shounen anime, Kensuke Ushio is goated. I didn't expect to hear Luffy say "Son of a bitch" in this anime lol. Momo has the thought that Turbo Granny's faster train is a good thought, but Turbo Granny can still catch up with them, but it's not that easy Momo has prepared this with Seiko to defeat Turbo Granny, its just so peak. Here we know that it turns out that Turbo Baba is just a Grandma therapist who is ready to cheer up the women whose spirits are unsettled. It's crazy with how powerful Turbo Granny is in her territory, she has a huge Crab filled with spirits and a zombie army. | There is no doubt Dandadan has phenomenal animation/ production value and interesting premises. However, after watching 4 episodes , I have mix feeling of this series, more like wrong expectation. I come in expecting some horror /Supernatural show , like Dark Gathering (the beginning part is like Dark Gathering), but what I get is a love comedy + battle shonen (reminds me of trigger style too, with chaotic and over-exaggerated motion/ action sequence. ) Well , I like Dark Gathering more in terms of plot/ theme, but the production value of Dark Gathering anime is very mediocre. If Dark Gathering get half of the budget/ animation /animators/staffs of Dandadan, maybe that series would have flourish too. Sadge. Also this 4th episode looks like a finale too lolz. Guess this series was originally going to be a short one off story like Jujutsu Kaisen Zero, but it gets hyper popular after release so the publisher asked author to make it a long running series. Looks like next week going to be a new story arc. |

| Another great episode. Just love the wackiness of the chase accompanied by a classic(such as William Tell Overtoure or Can Can) inspired OST remix and how they go from that to more modern pieces. Going over the manga again, it's impressive how creative they got while adaptating this. |

| That was trippy. Chase sequence was some good shit, and the classical music was much appreciated. Turbo Granny and the Giant Enemy Crab will definitely be remembered. Okarun unfortunately does not whip out his reclaimed wiener for Seiko, but we can't all be winners. Looking forward to seeing what's next. |

| What a crazy, funny, and amazing episode! Momo and Okarun are weird, but they have amazing chemistry. Their fight with Turbo Granny and the other spirits was insane. The moment where Okarun tries out her second pair of boobs was so weird and funny that I didn’t see it coming. The escape sequence was brutal – the animation and colors combined with the “William Tell Overture” make this anime a true gem. They managed to defeat Turbo Granny, though I doubt that’s the end for her. But Momo and Okarun will continue to see each other, even after their mission is over. I can’t wait to see more moments of them together! |

| Damn, I wish the theatrical preview included this episode too, this would have been INSANE to witness on a movie screen. To the anime-only people, this episode pretty much perfectly encapsulates the wackiness of Dandadan, and yes, it’s only going to get crazier from here. So strap in because you’re in for quite a ride. That entire chase sequence was wild, this anime really fell into the right hands because you can just feel the passion oozing from the screen. What a sakuga-fest today. Now that they’ve taken care of Turbo Granny, it’s time to move on to more crazy adventures. |

| They cooked in this episode again. Not just in the animation department but the music too. So, Turbo Baba is finally no more and Okarun got his balls back. At least so I think. Because that preview was ominous. Ngl I didn't think Turbo Granny would be defeated so soon. I thought she'd remain as the main source of the hero's power even if it's ridiculous. But I'm guessing they either didn't fully get rid of her or Okarun will get cursed by a different spirit in the next episode. Also looks like another main character will debut in the next episode. Exciting. |

| Good teamwork between Momo and Okarun. Unexpectedly, a plan had been made to draw Turbo Baba to the edge of the border where Seiko was there so that she could be defeated. And also, Okarun regained his genitals after Turbo Baba died.  |

| After watching one episode of Power Paint Lock, watching Dandadan is a pure blessing for my eyes. Thank you Science Saru, I never doubted you would deliver... peak sakuga, takes manga' insanity and turns it from 10 to 11 |
| Science Saru really flexing their muscles. Using their full creative toolbox and it’s producing amazing results like this episode. This was beautiful. Episode truly felt like a work of art. So many cool camera angles, cuts, transition techniques you name it they were in their bag. Best episode so far production wise. We also got more of Okarun and Momo’s amazing chemistry. They’re the perfect team. Okarun was really about to waste them good ass crab legs, I don’t blame granny for being upset lmao. Momo munching on em was also hilarious. Normally it’s hard to capture the subtle differences in Japanese thru subtitles but the sayoanara/mata ashita scene at the end was good. For those that don’t know, outside of English in many languages including Japanese, “goodbye” is reserved for when you never plan to see someone again. So Okarun is obviously bummed that Momo told him sayonara until she speaks up again and says see you tomorrow. For better or worse they’re stuck with each other |
