Having limited knowledge is fine, I'm not like a computer expert or anything all the stuff I know is from the like 10 years I've been using a pc and having to troubleshoot my self etc. Building a pc from scrambled parts seems a bit sketch though aha, making sure the cpu is on the right chipset for the motherboard etc. I assembled my own pc!
Hmmm I see, my first thought was your bootdrive (idk if u have it on an ssd/hdd) where u keep windows! Was corrupted but that wouldnt make sense LOL. Like idk thats the things with pcs it can literally be any of the components that are faulty and causing an issue, you literally just have to try and see and then move onto the next thing u might think it is and eventually you'll get to the answer!! Hey, you take those it's working LOL!
How old is the gpu? :thonk:
yeah, you can't risk doing anything to it you can find used pcs on fb marketplace for a good price actually, always fun seeing what people put on there, same with ebay.
I plan on buying the parts and doing it myself, and it's black friday sales so thats neat!
ah that's annoying!! :( my pc is on it's last legs, I really should get a new one...
windows 11 new update not looking good!! :fearful: That's so weird, first time I've heard of something like this LOL
how did you fix it? remove the gpu, then go into windows startup repair tool or something? Anyway that's good that it's fixed now!!! :)
Troubleshooting your pc is the most "what went wrong and why" and it can be caused by too many things. ;3;
He's a QT! Yeah, rescuing cats and seeing them find their forever homes just seems like such a rewarding experience, you get to save them from busy streets, any dangers etc. Yeah, the bond you can have with them is pretty on par with like a tight sibling bond or stronger. He also loves going onto your shoulders (and using me as a personal stepping stone LOL) he'll chill on your shoulders and nuzzle into you while you take him around the house! Cute cute that your other cat likes being held too!
Ooh, I see. Working on the weekends is probably busy? More customers I'd imagine, but it's probably chill still apart from when the cats wanna kill you. That's basically what I did when volunteering at an animal sanctuary for the first time (the induction phase) apart from we never handled the medication side but we did learn about it and there was no customers, every other time however since I signed up for cat cuddling you'd just get assigned 3 pens which will be colour coded (3 blue pens, 3 yellow etc. as an example) and you'd just get a colour you're assigned, spray your feet and wash your hands so you're not bringing anything in before and after you enter a pen, and you'd do that as well before you enter the building (lots of repetition) and you'd wear overalls!! It was a great experience however aha. Yeah, I'm sure it is lovely to help them! Each cat is different so you got to get used to their personalities ig they just don't like their litter being changed, doesn't feel familiar to them anymore.
Yeah! Of course, since it's an animal sanctuary it wasn't just cats, there were horses there too as well as chickens, ducks, guinea pigs to name a few. Where the cats were, there was like a little man made river they could see that had the chickens roaming around near and ducks in the river so they could watch them, the kittens were in a different section cause they'd need a different kind of care.
Oh, wow 2-3 days of everything stopping sounds insane yeah!! Taking the sled to school was probably super fun, I never did that just went sledding down a hill near me at that time LOL. I would love the snow to be thick again, can only hope!! ;3;
Congrats on finishing it! I am so glad you enjoyed it ^~^
That sounds great :3
Which is your favourite so far? I’ve been wanting to pick up Dandadan but haven’t gotten the time for it yet :p I hope you’ve been enjoying it!
Thank you so much, I had a good weekend. I hope yours was wonderful as well. Sending all the good vibes to you, hope you’ve been having a great start of your week :D
Yeah, he's a rescue cat and he was roaming by himself for like a month before they found him so ig like any loud noise reminds him of cars/him being outside for that time and being scared. He's super affectionate though, always purring and you can hold him like a baby and he'll nuzzle into you and be content there. Lounging around the house sounds like a typical cat LOL. Oh, you work with cats?? I've volunteered a few times at an animal sanctuary near me doing cat cuddling and most of the cats are female but affectionate. But apparently there is one that bit down to the bone on someone ages ago, spooky.
Riight!! Winter is best sleep season, it is just a cozy time to be in bed and snuggle up. Yeah, I think 2018 we had snow here as well but it wasn't enough for sledding, it was just a thin layer and it was gone the next day. Around 2014 or earlier tbh was the last time it was "proper" snow for sledding here, every other time since its either a thin layer or it never sticks. I do want to experience being snowed in once, seems like a comfy experience but then the whole shovelling the snow etc might not be it and being cold LOL.
yeah! humidity is the killer.
yeah if you're always running your body will stay warm, but having a coat can never hurt aha.
Ah, there has been super loud ones going off today, but even if they were the quieter type my cat would still care, he doesn't like any loud-ish noise, if I get up when he's on the back of my chair for example he'll get spooked, he's just a very scared/anxious cat, doesn't like new people either!!
Winter is nice cause you can layer up, idk I swear I get better sleep in the winter, you have the snow which here it basically never sticks and if it does we don't get a lot it's legit been like a decade since we last had "proper" snow to the point u can go sledding down a hill. Yeah, autumn is first cause I just love how pretty it is, very aesthetic time of the year and the weather is normally pretty good. Same for me, I'd say spring then summer. Heat is yucky (bri'ish moment) it's just easier to warm up then cool down I fear, lmao going to work coatless is asking for a cold. :3
Speaking of snow do u know about the giant snow walls in Tateyama, Japan. That amount of snow seems so crazy. LOL
Can't believe it's going to be December next month crazy. Yup, blasting those fireworks and scaring my cat! :'(
Oh, it's not that different, been around 10 degrees today but it's going to drop to like <9 in the night, I am more sensitive to cold so maybe that's why I find it cold though LOL. We're just starting nov so maybe it'd cool down a bit yea. I do like winter but autumn takes the cake as my favourite I fear. Winter is second. :3
yeah! this year felt like it's gone by quick personally, it's hard to forget when bonfire day is cause there is always people blasting fireworks days before. xP it's been pretty cold where I'm from o:
