| I know how the antagonist is super strong and all but it’s still annoying when Squad Zero is all high and mighty and then episodes later they get obliterated with no scratch on the Quincy’s. There’s still a scene after the ED. |

| Surprisingly I still remember how the last season ended, so it was easy enough to follow. As usual there really isn't much explanation to why the Sternritter survived and Ishida is only strong when he's doing some stupid shit as an enemy. I'm kinda looking forward to seeing Aizen again now though. |

| @cry4heals As well as being episode 27 (9+9+9). Also if you multiply it by 20 minutes (roughly an episode with no opening and ending) it's a total of exactly 9 hours in to the TYBW anime. Some people also made some calculations based on between chapter of the manga this was adapted till this episode, or when manga finished and anime returned. Something like that, alsog gave away some number's ), although those theories might be a bit of a stretch ... |

| This episode reminded me how atrocious the whole last arc was. It's like watching kindergarten kids play yelling "my attack is infinity, nu-uh, mine is 2 infinity, and mine 2 infinity plus one". Powers are so stupidly inflated I completely check out during fights and Bleach never had anything else going for it. Spinster lady bankai could look cool if it was actually drawn but CG made it look like an old PC screen saver. Are fans of this just blinded by nostalgia taking them back to when they were little kids and Bleach was coming out, or someone actually likes it for what mediocrity it is? |

| What a metal af beginning for this season, mainly for Yhwach and the Quincy's after what looked like a complete defeat from last season's cliff hanger. Senjumaru's Bankai once again looking incredible, i still find it cool as shit that squad Zero members have to sacrifice 3 members for one member to be able to use Bankai otherwise they break the realm's from their sheer power. Shame it looks like Uryu completely iced her in a single shot, but i wonder if the same technique Ichibei had Ichigo use to revive himself could work with other squad zero members, also Uryu's awakening of new powers from The Almighty's activation was really interesting, metal as fuck with how it literally was enough to win a 1 v 1 against a squad zero member with a Bankai activated. The rest of Ichibei and Yhwach's fight was cool, Yhwach activating The Almighty was a fucking generational scene and Ichibei's Shrine construct was stellar, loved the black and white visual palette change with red outlines on Ichibei and Yhwach in that scene, 100% felt like it aligned with Ichibei's theme, also his dance before the Shrine construct was also kinda funny lol. But shit they cooked with The Almighty's activation scene so hard i feel, 900 years to regain his pulse, 90 years for his mind, 9 years for his strength and now finally 9 minutes into season 3 for his eyesight and true strength to be regained, fucking KINO. Also how it seemed and described him to be almost omnipotent Man they also really cooked with Yhwach's victory stride, granted i remember last episode he kinda shafted all the other Quincy's and Sternritter's besides his personal royal guard, but the way he started disassembling the surrounding area to form his own stairs to the soul king after the squad zero wipe was crazy good, really felt like emphasis on his "take everything" title that is thrown around a lot. |

| First episode was a lot of recap, which I understand since it’s been a while since the last cour. I like that it looks like this season won’t be a “wait for Ichigo” type situation like the last one, so I’m excited to get into the next episode. (8.5/10) |
