| Uzumaki está em preto e branco, não me importo. Animação top melhor que a maioria dos animes, e a trilha sonora ficou ótima com o tema do desenho. No começo Kirie se mostra inocente sobre a cidade maligna, único momento de humor, porque toda história é macabra e terror. Incrível poder do Shuuichi, poder paranormal que JESUS identificava demônios em pessoas. E lógico, tudo ligado ao espiral é bizarro. |

| Well, I don't really know what to say because this first episode was actually perfect and if the animation stayed like that it would be one of the best horror adaptation ever but it seems like it becomes really bad after this... so I won't hype myself at all sadly but at least we got this incredible first episode |

| I heard this anime isn't like most horror shows, which contain scary characters accompanied by "jumpscare". Some say that this anime will make you feel uncomfortable; in the worst case possible, it might be able to make you vomit. Therefore, let's try! For some reason, Toshio, Shuuichi's father, is obsessed with spiral. He likes and often spends time drawing and observing spirals. Toshio is so attached to the spiral, to the point that whatever he does must have a spiral in it. Over time, those obsessed with spirals are not only Toshio. Obsession with the spiral began to spread throughout the city of Kurouzu. Not long after that, Toshio Saitou's obsession ended with his death. Do you know why Toshio died? It turned out that he died because he "turned" into a spiral by forcing himself into a tub. This does not stop there, the smoke of the cremation of his body also forms a spiral in the sky. This made Shuuichi's mother experience severe trauma, and it seems like she now has "Uzumakiphobia". It seems the "infection" of the spiral was spread by Azami Kurotani, a friend of Kirie Goshima. However, the person who first suspected, or rather realized that, was Shuuichi Saitou, the MC. The spiral spread from Azami's forehead. Initially it was only a crescent-shaped scar, but over time the condition of Azami's forehead was getting strange. Increasingly here, Azami's forehead seems to be "consumed" by the spiral that continues to grow. In the end, Azami disappeared, "swallowed" by the spiral. |

| Great first episode. The animation is really good and the art style is almost indentical to the manga. The pacing is a bit too fast, but I wouldn't consider it bad. |

| This adaptation felt completely true to the source material. The animation was spot on and even improved on aspects of the source material. I had lofty expectations and this anime has exceeded them. |

| So erm.... The dad seems to get a likin' in thingies that swirl , so he just kills himself and becomes a spiral. Wow, very scary (it wasn't , just a lil weird). I feel like theres different types of horror, scary and disturbing and I think this anime is tryna be all weird and disturbing. Honestly I was a bit bored after watching, it just might not be my cup of tea to watch people get obsessed with swirlie things the whole episode. Honestly if i was the mc and saw my friend get sucked up by some spirial i'd be running away IMMEDIATLEY to the next town over. |

| the first ep is actually good, I did hear tho that eps 2-4 is where this series falls apart, into the inferno we go lool the bit with the cutting off the finger tips was super cringe inducing |
