| Again with this dude that only shows up on rainy days, and ofc, this time around he's got himself a Uzumaki on his back... because ofc he does. Though, he's probably the least of our concerns for now, seeing as the dude only comes on, again, rainy days lmao. Our big concern right now though, HAS to be the fact that Kirie's hair is turning into Uzumaki's as well. Actually, scratch the whole idea of not having to be concerned about the dude that only shows up on rainy days, BECAUSE DUDE TURNED INTO A FUCKING SNAIL??? WHAT LMAOOO. And Kirie's hair ain't looking much better. It just keeps on getting worse with the days. Out of anyone this episode who got it the worst though has to be the dude that only shows up on rainy days. His parents seeing him was just so sad to see. No rest either because dude who won't leave Kirie dies in the MOST STUPIDEST FUCKING WAY EVER, THINKING HE A HERO AND LETTING THE CAR JUST RUN HIS ASS OVER... | Things are really spiraling out of control now. The bully and his victim both turning into snails, mating, and laying eggs together was particularly fucked up... Thankfully the MC survived getting Uzumaki'd into a Medusa and her boyfriend saved her with a pixie cut. |
| Very much enjoying the fact that this adaptation's connecting the different events into one continuous plot by having them happen alongside each other. Really looking forward to next week's episode. |

| Wow the animation was horrible, the closeup shots looked rough but somewhat decent but everything else was a mess. This after the delay and going no color lol. And here I thought this would be a nice watch after the first episode too. Hope the last two episode will be better. As for the story Kyrie had a rough time with the hair spiraling and the snail shit was gross. Lots of stuff started happening in the second half as well. The town is going nuts. |

| I am a little disappointed. The first episode was much better than the manga - the chronology and depiction of events were way more thought out. I hoped they would trim out the manga fat and remove some of the idiotic/laughable chapters, but instead they crammed as much of them as they could into a single episode. The snail-guy storyline also felt rushed - in one scene he is on the building and in another he is already in the cage, in manga his transformation into a snail was longer and more fleshed out. Well, at least the MC girl doesn't have amnesia at the start of each chapter like in manga, because side stories are more intertwined into the main story. Also... the hairy fight lasted several minutes and in that time the snails had enough time to escape and go together into the woods/mountains to lay eggs? Those are some very fast snails! |

| The art style is very interesting, but the story is so ridiculously rushed it just keeps jumping from one plot point to another in a matter of seconds. It should've been 7-8 episodes instead of 4. Or they should've pulled a PLUTO and made each episode 45 minutes/1 hour long. But oh well... |

| The snails were fucking disgusting. The most disturbing part of the episode so far. And the bully and the bullied mated and laid eggs. Yuck. Kirie with curly hair looked cute. Or at least she would've if this anime wasn't about terrifying spirals. Man, these townsfolk are freaking stupid to not leave town after witnessing all that shit. If I was Shuichi I would've fled with Kirie after episode 1. Everyone else be damned. I enjoyed seeing one of those kids getting burnt to a crisp. That's what you get for being a dumbass. Man, the animation in this episode looked rough. What were all those running animations? I thought everything was supposed to be rotoscoped? Some shots still looked good but it's mainly the in-between scenes that took a hit. They took so long to make this I was expecting every frame to look perfect. Oh well. And I agree with the pacing being shit. It should've been at least 6 episodes long. I fucking hate fast pacing that doesn't let any scenes breathe. |

| @deg Lmao that makes sense. I did notice how the animation didn't look as fluid as a rotoscoped animation should so that explains it. But the animation in episode 1 still looked good. |

| Another great episode! The transformation of the young boy into a snail was creepy! The spiral-shaped growth of the scalp that takes on a life of its own was heartbreaking! The lovers coiled up like mating snakes was cute as well as horrifying! The lighthouse burning the boy, insane! kekeke |
