This has gotten really strange...strange to the point where some parts of this show feels surreal, almost like the Twilight Zone.

At least Nikola is back to normal now though. Episode is fine although I do wander how they'll tie this series up to the end from what they've built up now.

This show is getting weirder and weirder.

Akane is cute and hilarious. :3

Pretty scary casino, huh.

Well, hoping for a satisfying finale.

The meeting between meta AIs of Alba and Tesla, it certainly has been a long day, but being fellow debuggers with the same intention to get rid of bad debuggers, something doesn't sit right with Alba according to Tesla, who seems to be converging with players more than doing his actual job. And the moment where Haga is warped into the underground of a dungeon, the worst fears came true that Alba assumes more of a leadership role to get rid of people not aligning to his beliefs, which unfortunately for Amano, he too got teleported the same alongside Akira and Akane, whom the latter feels that he's trying to undermine their leader.

Without the debugging stone, Haga has to make do with his situation, which got exasperated more with a library full of flavour text that are just all sorts of screwed up enough to make up lots of debugging reports. While both ladies and Amano find a casino within the midst of the dungeon, Haga encounters part-time debugger Kinoshita being a question mark avatar, whom she was originally a lizardman before being teleported to the same place where they are right now: the Diamond, the library located deep beneath the Mazuna Temple at 1000 floors underground. Truly, the casino slot being the Diamond of Diamond, it too also is a busted place to have organs serve as colllateral, and Akane has no control whatsoever. And it's also where the raid boss Silence sits awaiting an opponent to fight against.

This thousand-layed dungeon has so many layers, but which layer will the series end on building this as set-up?

Haga my friend, debugging should be the furthest thing from your mind in this situation… what even is this writing?

What a strange episode this was, its nice to see that Nikola is back and healthy. That casino is terrifying I certainly wouldn't want to lose money in there.

Akane is a riot haha, I'm glad Nikola finally woke up but the party is trapped on two fronts, man, what a failure of a game that is, full of bugs, glitches, errors, even the AI went rogue.

Uuh, whose idea was it to put a thousand-story dungeon that looks interesting in the penultimate episode? You can get a lot of ideas from it and in the end they're going to sum it up in a single episode lmao

Just when you thought they had found a friendly group, the just ended up with more enemies, they just can't catch a break.
The casino scene was rather entertaining.
Now to see whether Haga can come up with a plan to defeat that boss.

I have ADD, ADHD & AUTISM, but this won't stop me. Let's keep having fun together.

@Andrete
What? Did you want an anime original final arc instead of the story progressing like usual?
And no, what's happening right now is not going to be completely solved in the next and final episode.

I just know that the organ harvesting casino was meant to be a gag the devs implemented for laughs. Too bad for Akane and our allies, death isn't something they can really afford.

Also, I thought Kinoshita got trapped in the game in the midst of making their character. But a bugged outfit makes more sense! I hope we get more insight in why Alba is doing this for the finale. I don't have a feel on him yet.

The directing and narrative choices in this show are always unexpected. Considering the setup in the first episodes, I never would've imagined seeing explicit humor (like the dildos), Akira's overtly sexual behavior when they arrived at the castle, mutilation scenes, and almost horror like settings. It feels like they don't really blend with the rest of the show, but honestly, I kinda like these weird choices.

Well, the one thing I like about this show is I certainly can't guess what's next, lol. Talk about weird turns of the story.

I'm the kind of person to hold a grudge, hehe, so when Akira said to Haga "we're friends, right?" if I were him I'd have scoffed in incredulity at that statement. I'd have to remind her that just a month ago she was wanting to attack me because we had a disagreement. If it wasn't for needing to do something about Nikola I'd have ditched her right there and went on my own way. That said, I actually agree with her; I'd be using the debug stone more often - just carefully. I don't see the problem with using kill to get them out of a situation like that. I think he's a little too reserved. But to draw on one of my companions, that's just messed up. As someone pointed out in 11s thread, she had no compunction about slicing that other dude in half in the earlier arc. Maybe she's just a little unhinged from being stuck in here.

With how uncertain it would be to get another season it's odd they're apparently ending in the middle of an arc rather than a more natural break point. Unless they really plan to somehow resolve the whole Alba story in a single episode.

LOL Haga used the Skyrim gate bug
@Zact99 The Skyrim gate bug makes sense to me. You are blowing an object you're holding through the gate, which then pulls you through.
The bug Haga used hardly makes sense. The only explanation I can think of is that, to make the game more realistic, there is a small rotation applied to the object a character is holding, but without accounting for collisions. If the wall you're moving into is thin enough, like how the gate could be, the object would get far enough into the wall to be closer to the back side of it than the front and at that point the object would be pushed out, pulling you through the wall with it. If that was the explanation, the bug would be very precise and require way more than two or three tries.
It seems like the author plays games, but doesn't know how bugs actually work; which is odd for someone writing a manga taking place in a buggy game!

Kind of a typical cliffhanger buildup episode but with only one left I feel like it's going to be rushed.

Well, we're almost at the end; onto the episode

(Sorry for rambling; I'm writing this as I watch the episode)

Hmm... Haga being sent underground before he could send a bug report? Suddenly things are a lot more suspicious right now... even after that whole thing with the guy who wanted to kill Haga's group

The piggy back gag was pretty funny, lol

Of course Haga would nerd out over flavor text

What the? A question mark that's sentient? Weird choice of avatar

Casino in the dungeon? Well that's a non-sequitur if I've ever seen one

1000 floor dungeon? I mean, I get its a video game world, but why design something to that extent? Wouldn't gamers get bored after a while so they can explore other stuff?

Despite being a question mark... man, that scene with her crying was really emotional

Uh oh... that's one dubious casino

And with the raid boss, that's the end of the episode.

Not a bad episode, but not the strongest in the series. They're taking a big risk ending where they are; with only one episode left they run the risk of ending on an unsatisfying note- and with season 2 not guaranteed that's not a position they'd want to be in.

As someone who enjoys Isekai I had high hopes going in... and there were aspect I liked, and some that fell flat for me. Well, all that's left to do now is wait till next week and see how this all ends

Lol, anyone who says "I've never ever lost in a casino" are dumb liars.

I imagine they'll have to gamble more in hopes of winning big.
