| Aqua is quite the womanizer with two dates in a single episode. Kana's reactions during her date with Aqua were very cute; she thought she could take control of the situation, but Aqua had already reserved everything to make sure she had a good time. As for his date with Akane, it was rather sad because Aqua was pretty harsh, inviting her on the trip just to discuss their breakup that was insensitive. I won't deny that Akane and Aqua make a good pair, even if their relationship is fake, and Akane supports him unconditionally, but since I'm team Kana, it doesn't sadden me that much. Aqua is still blocking out the full picture of Ai’s death, believing his father is dead. But as Akane pointed out, there's a gap in the story regarding who actually killed Ai. Speaking of fathers, there he is finally back after going out to buy cigarettes. Ruby, how did you not notice he looks exactly like Aqua?! |

| Well damn, that went a direction I was not expecting. And I absolutely was not expecting Akane to be the one who figures it out, holy shit that is one smart lady, I absolutely would not want to get on her radar if I had anything to hide lol. The end scene is obviously going to get a lot of discussion since of course we are now entering the next phase of the story. I enjoyed it (it is helped by the fact that it is one of the only Ruby scenes in the episode), but of course, the big reveal was already given away by Akane's realization in just the previous scene (by the way the animation for Aqua and Akane's visualization of the Ai murder story is another example of great stylized visuals used to great effect in this series). Anyway, great episode overall. Curious to see where the final two of the season end up going. |
| Wow Akane realize the loophole, i think what she meant was Himekawa mother could also cheated on her husband and that man was the one who made Ai pregnant. Akane Giga Brain as always. But seriously what's up with the Crow? There has to be something deeper with these Crow, i can sense something sus. Holy shit!! Daddy returns after buying a cigarettes?? | I've thought about this loophole really hard, and there is only one situation that I could come up with. If we assume that the DNA test is correct, then the only answer is that Taiki's mother actually had a secret affair with the real father. This would give cause for the suicide-murder committed by the supposed father once he found out and would also explain how/why the father could still be alive. Please don't reply with spoilers. |

| This episode felt like a roller coaster. I personally don't care much for Kana, but their 'date' was nothing less than cute. Akane bringing Aqua to the bridge and hugging him back for the hug he gave her when he saved her just warms the heart. Got piercing chills during Akane's moment of realization of the loophole, and of course went "oh sh*t" at the reveal at the end. I was actually like 10% expecting for Aqua and Ruby's father to actually be dead, a bold decision by the writer to maybe perhaps shift the story entirely in a different direction. But NAH, today we see we are nowhere near done with any of that yet. And yeah there is the whole Kana Akane waifu war... but come on. Kana is head over heels for Aqua, but Akane actually understands him. She's like his ride-or-die and would go to the pits of hell with him. Idk man, is it really even a competition? Well, not that it fully matters, because Aqua kinda seems to not really give af about either of them and is giving his entire life and millions of yen for the sake of Ai and avenging her. But still, if this war does persist, it's a no-brainer. Akane literally just offered to be his support during these hard times. That, and maybe even some spicy time on the side. >:) |

| Yeah, Akane already realised who Aqua and Ruby's real father is and Aqua hasn't figured out that "loophole". She really is a genius detective. And how very fitting for the GOAT Mamo chan as the voice of Ruby and Aqua's father. As a manga reader, I was imaginging his voice when I was reading the current chapters, I wasn't expecting that he will actually be joining the cast. |

| That first half was everything to me. It's so nice seeing Aqua being cheerful... well for his standards, but we know it's not going to last long. That 2nd half though holy fuck. Akane date started off cute too, until she realized Aqua just wanted an out from his revenge that he didn't even notice that the math ain't mathing. Ace Detective Akane back at it again. Their father had no reason doing that little coat sway at the end there lmao, but Goddamn, his genes definitely won. Fuck, this Miyazaki trip is not gonna be a fun time is it. |

| Oh, that was quite an amazing cliffhanger. I expected someone like him to look older but then again they haven't showed him in detail. Properly ominous feel and boy does he give the creeps being so close to Ruby. @Commit_Crime Yup. Her appearances are more and more coming across as comic relief and the occasional reflection on acting/the showbusiness. She is completely oblivious to the greater overarching plot and does not have the intelligence, maturity and beauty of Akane. But Kana's kind of character is very popular with a specific demographic so I expect her to have big screentime until the very end. Her kind of childish characters sell. |

| Ok, this episode was interesting, although ultra weird, just like Aqua's relationship with Kane is simply childish and quite cute, Aqua's relationship with Akane is mega weird and awkward, as if Akane's lines "is it about sex? do you want sex? admit it" xD it was such a cringe, despite this I like her for this weirdness, on the one hand she is clumsy when it comes to relationships, a charming girl, and on the other a psychopath who impersonates other people and wants to help in murder without a moment's hesitation, her strange relationship with Aqua is much more nuanced, which makes it much more interesting than the relationship with Kane which does not work at all for me, Akane and Aqua are two weirdos who fit together and Kane is a normal charming girl and I do not understand what she sees in our emo MC xD The ending of the episode... damn, we finally see the father, it seems strange. The plot is really starting to develop. 5/5 |

| How did Akane figure out that Aqua’s father is still alive? I hope they further explain what the loophole is within the next 2 episodes. I knew the whole murder-suicide situation was a bit fishy since his supposed “father” didn’t have blonde hair. Aqua and Ruby had to get those genes from somewhere. I’m excited to find out more about the father. (9.5/10) |
