Diana leaving already? I know it is way past the half-point of the show, but still. I guess I was kind of just expecting more rivalry moments between her and Akko considering all of the fan-art that depicts the two of them together. Oh, and of course Sucy and Lotte were tailing Akko.

"Diana has an iron will." Yeah, and Akko has a steel will, if that makes sense.

Luna Nova's staff is disappointed with Diana's departure. But I kind of wonder why can't they just let her enroll again? To be fair, the anime depicts the school as strict and bureaucratic. That, and Diana's situation might be a more permanent one.

Ok, so when Diana first arrived home I was like: "Wait, isn't she from a rich family or something?" Considering the setting was dusty and all. But nah, a few scenes later we get to see her residence in full glory. To be fair, they did say most of their servants resigned. Also, a part of me was thinking that maybe Daryl has magical illusions appear as their family's maids or something.

Diana's relatives all look like her, lol. Eh, it makes sense since they're all related but I guess it wouldn't really matter if they're going to be one-off characters. Well, it would matter to critics at least.

I found it funny that the last Chariot card Akko doesn't have is actually owned by the person who told him at the beginning that Chariot's magic was the worst! xD right, Diana?!!

It was nice having a scene where Hannah and Barbera all broken up about Dianas leaving, if she does come back I wonder what their interaction with Akko will be like. This seems like a big turning point on the whole of the show so far.

sheesh, Diana lives in a swamp with her aunt who literal evil darkness with red eyes so no wonder she comes off occasionally bitter lol
that Chariot card keeps her true to herself :)

Magic is outdated, but it's because the witches cling to tradition. If they had done like Chariot did, where they show how fun magic can be, they'll get more eyeballs on them. So long as they cling to these traditions, magic will be more and more obsolete.
