| I really enjoyed this episode. I seen that festival as a getaway for Sugaru to keep his mind off of things, but unfortunately while Mahoro was having fun, deep down he was hating the festival. Reminded him of his family so much and how he always feels alone. My favorite scene is when it starts raining and they are just out in the rain walking together, then Mahoro shakes a tree and gets all the people even more wet. I also see rain as a sign of sadness for Suguru, since he isn't happy. The sad moment comes at the end when Suguru tells Mahoro that he wants to come back to the festival and see the fireworks again with her next year. Little does he know that she isn't gonna be around for a year more. Without her in his life, I have no idea what will happen to him. I guess we will see in the second season. 5/5. |

| Mahoro looks great in a yukata, sure. I think she'd look great in anything. Slash feels like Mahoro's familiar or something, being a black feline with yellow eyes and all. He looks more pantherine than most cats do. Guess anything goes with mechas. |

| It was a beautiful episode with the classic matsuri romance tropes! I loved this one so much! The teacher and Mahoro's clash was cool and funny. And then at the end, we were reminded of Mahoro's limited time via her faithful companion Slash :( |
