| Utsuro is the primary threat of this episode and tbh, he gave Shy and the others a run for their money. Shy didn't give in and kept getting up to fight what she believes in. Seems no matter what, she took on whatever was thrown at her and performed some interesting techiques. I think it's safe to say that this episode is one of Shy's toughest fights. |

| Ahhh Teru masterclass! this episode was great, Utsuro is a powerful opponent and it looked like Shy was really done for when she got stabbed, but the purity sword came in clutch! “If only you could save this world by just talking, no one would ever die” LMAOOO COOKED MY BABY ICL. Shy is a great talk no jutsu user but it’s gonna take a lot more than that to take out Utsuro. The power up from the purity sword was so cool, love how badass Shy looked! But most importantly we got a look inside Mai’s heart to see the source of her pain and man honestly it’s hard to even argue with her. The shinobi village started having her kill people as a child and then everyone acts surprised she’s so fucked up.. like the negative impact that had to have had on her mental state can’t be overstated. Then the whole bear incident.. it’s a wonder she held on as long as she did. I can’t wait for the next episode to see what happens next. Action and everything was great today |

| Mai sucking in Ai to become the one evil entity known as Utsuro, the love-hate relationship of the sisters is what Teru needs to deal with, and she's not an easy enemy at that. Like Pepesha in Season 1, Teru finding herself in the exact same life-threatening situation being dealt a direct blow to the chest, and Ai's shinobi Sword of Purity is granted to her for that exact power she needs to blend both blade and heart as one to defeat Utsuro, giving her a rather tough challenge. All that Teru needs to do is to calm her mind and blend with Ai's sword style, and she would be fine to counter Utsuro's attacks. Alongside the Heart-shift bracelet that Teru got from the very start, it's not just a weapon to connect hearts from the one trait that she's good at: selflessness, and delving into the life of the Tennoji sisters to understand where they are now along in their path towards good or evil, especially in Mai's case where tragedy struck her time and time again, all she ever wanted was her own sacrilege from her sin, and separate Ai from her darkness self to save both sisters out of Utsuro. With each heartful connection, grows Teru's heart convictions stronger. |

| I thought Shy was going to be defeated when she was stabbed. Thankfully Heartblade Purity came to the rescue. Shy showed tremendous heart in order to rescue Ai. |

| As hinted before Mai was taking missions to kill people since she was strong and more cliche stuff with her which I don't mind but it wasn't really done well enough for me to actually care so whatever. Cool action though with Shy being able to use the katana and also Ai's techniques, thanks to her heart becoming one with the katana. Can she save the two or will Mai die? Let's see. |

| There was more background on Mai in this episode which explained how she got in the state that she's currently in, and also why she killed the bears that she had befriended. I do wish that we had gotten more of the current fight but at least it looks like Ai is no longer merged with Utsuro, at least physically. |
| Pepesha got bitch smacked by a tentacle lol there sure is going to be fanart of Kufufu with her tentacle arm i just know it.... That was a nice fight Teru put up physically and internally against Utsuro Sad that Mai went through that. Does explain things better, except why she even went against her morals to begin with. Like how did they pressure her into? Was she also threatened or just guilt tripped and manipulated? |

| Getting stabbed in the heart would normally be the end of it. But Utsuro had to go and stab the hero with a sword of goodness! I'll have to chalk that up to subconscious guilt from Mai. Purity has been an excellent sensei in this fight. Without her, we could of never known the Heart-Shift Bracelets are actually the universes best empath. Talk about having a heart-to-heart! |
