Is that possible to make 3 fried eggs on one pan so they don't touch each other?!

that fake drama with car was stupid ;/ and why before that her legs were half white half tanned? on any other scene they are same color.. it looks like animation error..

I hate it when anime/manga that I enjoyed ends, especially when there could be much longer plot and when I love main heroine :P

I wish I had magic glasses that let me see real world in anime colors ;)

If you've told me this is fhana, I wouldn't believe you, because they still have it with a feel-good OP.

The rumours in school about Saki about her being a callgirl, Yuta sure is surprised to hear stories about his new stepsister, much less her being isolated from the rest of the class. And indeed, coming from a mother who works as a bartender, and a daughter who wants to provide for her own family as well. And regarding her clothes as a form of armour and facade to keep her relevant towards everyone who sees her, it may be arbitrary, but that's how she decides who she wants to be.

Saki trying to make meals for both Yuta and his father, they're both pleasantly surprised at her range, and Yuta starts thinking the same way to try and live independently. And other than his bookstore part-time job with Shiori being a way to support both families, the thought processes of both high school students are different.

Truck-kun almost making the infamous shtick, am glad that Saki escaped narrowingly unscathed.

After reading the manga I was so excited about this becoming an anime but I was scared. Because I didn’t know how they were going to make this. In the manga there are funny moments with funny facial expressions. But it also has a mature, flirty feel to it. They wouldn’t have been wrong to stick 100% to the way the manga is. Buz but the end scene is somber and serious. But they did a great job of sticking to the manga but also added a very mellow and mature feel to it. The pace is nice and slow and they make sure you hear every word. The way they show past events is great to even though in the manga it happened accordingly in the anime they’ll skip it then show you later to emphasize how important that moment was. Plus the music is great and adds an intensity

nice osts.
they got interesting thoughts on life. she too concerned with others' opinions tho.
Maaya seem fun. Yomiuri got some Zen view.
Yuta strange choice to run thru the rain.

I'm not sure what to think now, but holy making the blonde gal seem more suicidal just wasn't it lol. Like how bipolar can you be? and proving people wrong? fuck what people think in da long term lol.

Behold of my awesomeness~

I'm pretty sure the term, "selling yourself", means same around this whole damn world. No idea what that deep conversation was about, because it felt so fucking awkward.. like this entire series does.

Girl doesn't wanna continue living, but yeah that is so obvious from the first minute of the first episode, so that truck thing was more like a comic relief for me to break through this whole damn wall of awkwardness.

Yeah this does almost feel like watching a movie; not in terms of animation or visuals which are nothing to write home about, but this slow-paced style of directing and screenplay does make it feel, well, cinematic. Would rather not use that word because it's not exactly "cinema" but you get what I mean, probably.

The first episode hooks you by presenting the start of a relationship that you are probably curious to find out how it develops. Now unfortunately I personally was already starting to be a little bored during this episode, but not enough (yet at least) to make me lose focus on what seems to be currently driving this show forward: this mysterious atmosphere. Particularly of course around our step-sister character here, who obviously has some sort of past that may be along the lines of dark or tragic. I'm currently watching to see those secrets unfold, and then from there, see how brother and step-sister develop their relationship from those revelations...

...and also to see if things get SPICY. Who knows...

Saki was going to get isekai'ed by truck-kun, but was saved by Yuuta, just in the nick of time thankfully.

The awkwardness in their conversation. You can feel it but it's getting better which is a good sign for both of them. Some rumors have been floating around about Saki which are 'Rumors'. But, she's looking ways to earn money and be independent in the end which is not a bad thing to do. And, I'm happy that Yuta cares about her and is looking for ways to help her out.

Another very good episode. Not as strong as the first one but still very good.

This is solid. The episodes feel like full on short films with there attention to detail and music. I also love when an anime has either the intro or outro for each episode just makes it feel that much more special.

I find the concept of this show incredibly odd. They met each other once and were made to live together? And their parents hadn't cared at all about compatibility of everybody. How long did they even date? All of this feels like they jumped the gun way too quickly.

When my parents divorced, there was buildup - at least a meeting with the partner first, certainly more than this. They'd at least checked if the partner was willing to pretend not to be annoyed by having a kid around. The fact that the main characters live with one parent exclusively is also odd to me - the one time a girlfriend of my father's had a son, we'd both be revolving in and out of her flat, going to our other parents erratically, on different schedules - and that was only as long as it took my father to get his own place.

I do appreciate the way they communicate though. It's been really nice so far. The parents just seem insane to me.

sorry for what you get through, I respect you, man
but will you say no ?
you will stop your parents from feeling happiness
continue the show before you judge, and then you will know the full story
we are not the same , everyone has his way to go through it ,
I know the divorce is a very rush and hard
thing to go through, especially for the children
but why they will speak about it ?
and they don't have time to date because his father is working in the morning and her mother is working in the night, so they don't have any time for dating. How about introduction ?, they decided, and they wish their children will understand their decision
they believe in their children, and they see that their children are big enough to go through this and accept that marriage
yes , the divorce is hard for the children to the point that the both of them are having trauma , and the reasons when you will continue the show will pop up, but their parents believe in them, so what do you do ? will you say no ?

@Ahmedpower I wouldn't - and didn't - say no, ever. The partners did always end up hating me in the end - adult people just don't like to take care of others' kids, I've found. That obviously won't be an issue in this anime though - since neither parent takes care of the kids at all.

I do think they should have slowed down with the entire process of moving in together. I suppose there might have been financial incentives for their decisions - I do get that.

As for the anime - I will watch it. I've been liking it so far. I just find the adults' behavior to be somewhat lacking. I do understand they can't really help it because of their work hours and the like - but that doesn't change my feelings about it.
