This anime is such a crazy win. Male lead that's not annoying and is normal around women? Check. Straight 10/10 waifu female lead? Check. Cast of supporting love interests that are also incredible 10/10 waifus too? Check. They may as well announce S2 right now.

Light Novel to its core. MC is a disinterested/cynical chad of inter-personal relationships, despite being a child, and the no nonsense hot female lead is incompetent for the sake of damsel moments like this episode.

Thats not even including the multiple misunderstandings. Why are they hiding being siblings? Is MC from some special main/branch family and thats why they hide it and also why the have ties to Russia? Why do we need the future drama that Masha is the girl from the flashbacks not Alya?

@aurora_yuuki You are wrong, it wont be disclosed UNLESS they adapt volume 4, at this pace they are going for 3 volumes... I just hope this has a 2 cour, cuz if this does, part 2 will be insane with this pacing, by finishing with volume 6.


As for this, the reason is Suou family is very powerful and the leader of the family, their grandfather doesn't want it to be let known, Masachika was in essence expelled from the family, it is supposed to be a secret, so neither him or Yuki have permission to even share it, also don't expect a progress in this situation, you would need to reach volume 8 for that.
Better you knowing that know than creating false hopes.

Kuze got a slap and a kiss in one episode! He and Alya have differing ideas on what a "cheek kiss" is. Could this be due to cultural shock or just Alya?

So after using the ED to Miyuki in episode 3 (famous in Japan but very obscure in the west), ED 4 is the world-renowned Hare Hare Yukai from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. For what I expected to be Sumipe flexing her bilingualism, the EDs are her flexing her music career.

@Lurik259 YES, it is a lot of Oregairu, with way more romcom and a bit of Classroom of the Elite, so scenes with the MC later on at least.


She is a core character for the series, you will get a ton more of her, just be warned, it is not all nice, she can be quite ruthless when she gets serious, so be prepared for that (you will know what I mean by the end of the season), just don't let that make you hate her, cuz it is just a side of her and she definitely loves her brother a lot!
