| Damn, this episode was tense. Not only was the mansion on lockdown but Taiyo's life is literally on the line. He was unconscious but was being treated. With the power out, he really needs help. Luckily, he has Mutsumi and it's their bond that pushes them forward. If anything, this anime always wants to remind us why their relationship is so important. |

| New fripside OP oh my goodness every time I hear them it just takes me back to the good old days in the early 2010s. Real anime Banger OP for a banger episode. Ton of good action in this one, but most important Mutsumi came in clutch! Took a massive gamble on injecting the Yozakura blood into Taiyo and it paid off… after he lost control and almost went on a rampage lol. But all’s well that ends well and it did help them take out Goliath easily. Taiyo’s abilities look so cool too! Wait, old guy was their dad??? And this was all an elaborate ruse to get Taiyo strong enough to defend Mutsumi? That’s a pretty roundabout way of doing things lol, but in a way it’s poetic since now Taiyo is a Yozakura by marriage AND blood technically. Again we got to see everyone’s abilities in action which was cool. But for all her hard work and resourcefulness, singing is NOT one of Mutsumi strengths lmao. Wonder how everything’s gonna go now that Taiyo’s got a power boost |

| Looking forward to what their dad has in store for them. Doing all this to force Mutsumi to give Taiyo a power up. Taiyo finally gets a taste of how it feels to be as OP as the other family members. Kyoichiro listening to Mutsumi's singing = Yuri eating Yor's cooking. Kind of want that anywhere gaming box Shion was in. Curious of how compact it can get. |

| This was so Peak I wanna cry. This arc and this cour going to be real real good. New OP finally dropped and whatta banger that was. One of the best OPs this season. Mutsumi rescued Taiyo from a pinch by juicing up Taiyo with Yozakura blood. The gamble paid off and that musle brain got a good clobbering. Not sure what power Taiyo used but it looked cool. That old dude who is their father did all this just to make Taiyo stronger. Then why is he with a org which killed his wife. That dude is not trustworthy. Good thing Kyochiro got his mothers ring back. Damn his Calm Strom move was epic. Also Mutsumi and Taiyo are so sweet everytime when they are together. Their relationship is way too wholesome. |
| Yeah the old dude being the father checks out. It logically made the most sense as to why he had a ring. Kinda surprised he just let kyoichiro take it tho. For a sec I thought maybe it was a fake but nah if that was the case than he would have never been able to close the mansion off. I swear when Kyoichiro wants to he actually acts like the oldest sibling and he’s badass af. I still stand by threads being the coolest weapon in anime. I doubt this was intentional but I found a bunch of similarities to demon slayer in this episode. 1 - Being Taiyo’s awakening mentioning how the dudes movements were slow and his attacks slowing regeneration. Which was like tanjiro’s selfless state against daki during the second half of season 2 2 - Kyoichiro’s attack “calm storm” I think was the name reminded me a lot of Rui’s blood demon art “cutting thread rotation” 3 - this ones definitely not a reference and is just my stupid demon slayer brain working, but that sword in the KV reminds me of Kokushibo’s sword. With how the circles go down the middle. They look like the eyes on Kokushibo’s sword. But enough of silly references this was another great episode and I loved seeing the whole family come together. Taiyo and Mutsumi’s relationship is really precious. |
| The second OP is finally here! I thought it was a myth, but it finally appeared, and I really liked it. Well, things escalated and the attack on the Yozakura mansion was resolved. However, the actions of the Yozakura father seemed quite excessive. Helping Tanpopo to force Mutsumi to give her blood to Taiyou was over the top. Anyway, it turned out well for everyone, even for Tanpopo, by measuring her artificial drug. Now, Taiyou just needs to control his new power with the help of his family and a few songs from Mutsumi to calm him down if he gets violent. |

| The new OP is really cool and totally fits the vibe of the latest episodes. This whole conflict ended a lot quicker than I thought it would, I thought the father would put up more of a fight to give up the ring. I guess Taiyo basically has superpowers now too |
| Interesting to have a new OP in episode 16. Can't say I've seen that before but now knowing he has the Yozakura blood in him, I can see why they would choose now. |

| The 2nd OP finally comes around, and it's the classic fripSide pairing alongside Yoshino Nanjo. It's an improvement over Ikimonogatari's 1st Cour OP, that's for sure. With Kyoichiro dealing with the 9th Yozakura head's integration of the Cherry Blossom Ring, their own father Momo, Mutsumi is forced to use her someinine to recover Taiyo within the shortest time possible, which gives him immense power that he hasn't experienced before against Yama, at the cusp of the same consequence of the Hazakura trying to control it the same way. Truly, the only way to control is with its original owner, which Taiyo benefits the most with Mutsumi. The purpose of Momo to use Tanpopo to aid Taiyo's development, even going as far as for Mutsumi to use her blood to rescue Taiyo, Kyoichiro clearly is not happy with their father's abandonment of the family and the house. What's left is to literally clean up the Yozakura mansion's yard, though Taiyo needs controlling from the aftereffects of someinine...by having Mutsumi sing a song? That's a rather roundabout way to do so...since she sucks at singing lols, but thankfully Taiyo is brought back to normal. Taiyo is officially married, both by the ring and blood figuratively. |

| fripside OP sounds like any fripside OP, and for that reason alone it's a certified banger. fripside is so back. Op aside, pretty sweet episode overall to wrap up this arc with a bow on top. Taiyo's now pretty op from what I got from this. |

| It's hard to believe the the father of the Yozakura household did all of this so that Taiyo can become stronger as there were a bunch of close calls. I'm sure this means that Taiyo will be going up against stronger opponents in the future and maybe his power now rivals that of everyone in the household including Kyoichiro. |

| A new opening? I'm here for it. This whole battle being an elaborate scheme to get Taiyo some Yozakura blood is pretty wild. But it looks like Taiyo is built different and won't suffer the deadly side effects like the majority of people would. I feel like that was a no-brainer considering how much of an overachiever he is! Now I wonder how long Mutsumi's singing treatment will last... |
