 The 12th and final episode of Mushoku Tensei II: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu Part 2 (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2) announced a third season at the end of its broadcast on Monday.Studio Bind produced the 23-episode first season that aired in split cours in Winter 2021 and Fall 2021. The 24-episode second season premiered in two parts, with the first part in Summer 2023 and the second part on April 8. Funimation and Crunchyroll simulcast the first and second seasons with English subtitles, respectively. Mushoku Tensei adapts Rifujin na Magonote's adventure fantasy light novel, which he penned on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website between November 2012 and April 2015. Kadokawa began printing the novel with illustrations by Sirotaka under its MF Books label in January 2014 and shipped the 26th volume in November 2022. Yuka Fujikawa began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Flapper magazine in May 2014. Kadokawa published the 20th volume on February 22. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga in English and published the 26th light novel volume on March 12. The 18th manga volume went on sale on March 5. | @misfortune I don't blame them, the ED ark was also the worst part of the novel. I just wanted to get it over with when I was reading it, I can't imagine how much of a slog it must have been for the animators. I was kind of sad that they didn't change his inner voice to match his real one at the end of season 2 that would have been the perfect time, considering that was when he finally considered himself part of that world from the bottom of his heart. That would have made a great final scene. Looking forward to next season, hope they adapt my favorite part nicely. |
