| Welcome to the FIFTH Haruhi S3 thread. Yep. Been doing this for a long time now, ain't I? Anyhow, here's what we got. 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 (you are here) What did Haruhi even do lately? A collab with Konosuba? Weak. And Konosuba fucking got a Season 3 unlike this series. If they can get one, why can't we? Goddamnit! |

| Well with Euphonium finally returning and finishing soon I’d say that Kyoani could definitely bring back Haruhi, maybe not this or next year but I could definitely see it IN the next five. |

| As I would love to see a third season, it ain't happening anytime soon. Haruhi is in licensing hell. Kadokawa owns the rights for LN and KyoAni owns them for anime. Both companies do not talk with each other. So unless KyoAni sells the rights for anime (or Kadokawa for LN, tho it's less likely), no more seasons will be made. Third option is for both companies to talk with each other again, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. |

| I used to believe in S3 maybe happening, but I don't anymore. The anime tropes Haruhi was satirizing barely even exist anymore since most new stuff is fantasy/isekai these days. Intuition and the upcoming Theater novels are just collections of old short stories so we really haven't even had plot progression since 2011.  |

| they could probably expand the intrigues of haruhi into a whole season, but to be honest I don't really see it happening in today's scene, haruhi's disappeared. |
| That new 'Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian' anime featured Hare Hare Yukai similarly to how Remake our Life featured God Knows a while ago. Does that mean... it's coming back? IS HARUHI COMING BACK??? PLEASE COME BACK!!! AAAAAAH |
