| what a start, good art and animation. Kafka had a tough childhood competing to be a hero but failed and is part of the clean up crew. The Kaijuu that he fought came back for him and pulled a parasyte lol the comedy is a little unexpected though. |

| Lol I could never imagine cleaning those Kaijuu intestines ahaha, Kafka is definitely an interesting character especially for his relationship with Mina, from wanting to fight Kaijus together to just becoming one after being parasitized... and we have Ichikawa who's also very determined to fight Kaiju but just ended in the same field as Kafka, good beginning so far and also impressive animation. |

| That pilot was certainly unique. The show has a knack for baiting the audience, making you anticipate an out-of-nowhere cliché twist, only to end on an anticlimactic note. Then, just when you least expect it, it flips the script again and reveals the "cliché" plot point, but not in the conventional way you anticipated. I'm not hooked so to speak, but I'll keep rolling with this for now. |

| Think I would say there was enough in this ep to get me interested. Kafka seems like a nice guy just trying to help out and get by, then he gets ambushed by one of those things out of nowhere. With the fact that he has also been transformed into some sort of Kaiju I'm looking forward to see what direction this thing goes. |
