Finally made it to Osvel at last. The group finally arrived at the capital city of Osvel. After receiving their reward from Rubiria, Ogarou and the rest of the gang decided to return to their village. Meanwhile, Dhammi, troubled by Ogakichi's newfound strength, felt weighed down by the fact that she was still only a Dhampir. Sensing her distress, Ogarou initiated a special training regimen for Dhammi with the help of their friends. By having her defeat giants created using his own skills, Dhammi gradually leveled up. And then, dawn broke. Dhammi had leveled up. Yeah Ogakichi might've lost to Ogarou, but the fact that the fight lasted till midnight astounds me. Clearly he isn't weak. I mean, if it was stressing out Dhammi, then there's no doubt that he's gotten really strong. But Idk if making a pitstop in the middle of nowhere just so she could level up was necessary tho. They could've waited till they got home, but whatever. It did work, which is all that matters ig. This dude Gobji tho... bro really died with a boner... LMAOOOOO. The only good moment that came out of this finale. What a load of nothingness did this show bring. It started off so bad it's good, but then just gradually became so bad it's just shit. |

Well after watching it animated, I've come to the realization of just how repetitive the series became. I got fatigue when I was reading the manga and now I get it after seeing the series animated...it's just a consistent cycle of the same brain: fight, eat, bang, sleep, level up, and rinse and repeat. The memes the internet created trying to figure out how Ogarou's waifus could handle that monster D was the funniest thing. But glad it's over. 6/10 |

Ogrou and the gang reaching the royal capital of Oswell after escorting tomboy Princess Lubilia to safety, they're duly rewarded with human conditions that they almost don't feel so right. that said, Lubilia does know how to test Ogrou, though that's a facade to show off her innocent side as a strategist. And as for Dhami, having Ogrou train her, she did overexert herself, and so does Ogrou to experience mana depletion for the first time since he's just that strong and never once tracked his level. Dhami growing into Hetakerina of vampire nobility, and Ogeou is happy for her. Going back home to find a massive castle before them with Ogrekichi and Earthe literally building it as such, it's like Noah's Ark, but for monsters of all kinds alike. In the midst of all this, Gobiji falling into sickness for his elderly sake, at least he got to see Ogrou's children from seeing the lil goblin grow from a weak goblin to a strong lord, that he can pass on without any regrets...without having a BIG boner, oh God. Even them having Parabellum's small fighting festival to see how much the people gained from the trip outside, the biggest is grou vs. Ogrekichi in their new forms, Apostle Lord Aporou vs. Minotaur-class Minokichi, which Ogrou obviously came out on top. As the Parabellum Mercenary Company heads out to Oswell, their journey will continue...to where fate heads them. This show should've been released a good decade ago, not in 2024 in this horrid state. If there's anything to remember the show by, it's (Ring) Ding Ding Dong, Like King Kong. |

What a great show! My favorite arc was the opening arc, I was at the edge of my seat (compared to the rest of the anime). I will never forget this show, especialy whose 5 second of decent animation. I give the anime an 8. What a mid show! The opening was the best thing about it, I was half-asleep during most episodes. The show is fogettable, especialy with the animation being below average (most of the time (it is average the rest of the time)). I give the anime an 8/20 (= 4/10). |

Ogrou’s adventure to the royal capital, Oswald is ongoing. New challenges and awesome experiences await them. I hope they will make a second season or something after these 12 episodes, this was a great isekai anime, from all anime that I chose during FAL, Re:Monster surprised me the most. Finally Dhami managed to evolve in a better variant: Vampire nobility variant and she got a new name: Kanami. She is officially Aporou’s wife, so cute:) One thing I did not like was frequently changing characters names. I understand they developed in a new variant and gained better abilities, but it would have been well if their names remained the same. It’s kind of confusing like this. Anyway, I loved this anime, especially the fight between Aporou and Minokichi. Also, the four kids are so cute and healthy, they’ll be as strong as their father. |

Princess back to her place and so are Ogarou back to theirs. Dhami evolved again, Kaname looks pretty. Good to see her laugh. Ogarou's now Aporou. Their home sure has evolved too. It's like a big castle. Gobji died with a boner lol. A festival of sorts in their own style to see him off while also testing their strength. The knight made an appearance again and happy to see her. Hopefully she'll have more screentime in future. Btw the catsiths are indeed very cute. I pretty much liked the content of this anime but the animation held it back severely. Deen never disappoint when it comes to disappointing. |

And so we end the 127 Day look into the life of Ogurou and crew with new evolutions, new names, Gobjii's farewell, a fighting festival and the hint of a new mission likely covered in season 2 if we ever get one. On the whole I liked this series, but I must admit the first several episodes got more enthusiasm out of me than the latter ones. I don't think the latter episodes were worse narratively or anything, it's just that the day-by-day gimmick which seemed novel at first became less so as time went on. The power creep and just general structure became kinda stale by the end. I'm not sure if that would continue to be the case in a second season, but I still did enjoy this enough to check one out if it came. Solid 7/10. Edit: Also kinda surprised by how negatively this was received on here lol. I don't care enough to defend it or anything, but it is rare when I end up enjoying a series more than the general community. Usually I'm the hater if anything. |

While I normally think people hating on stuff are overreacting.... this show really was kind of crap. Visually, it wasn't bad. And there were some interesting concepts. But the show had no real substance to it, other than as a vehicle to show off some random character designs and some weird multi-species harem breeding fetishes. It is also ballsy ending the show with them being called into an adventure that sounds like it'd actually have something interesting happen.... but it seems highly unlikely that there'd be a season 2 based off of how poor the first season was. Like, if there was more interesting stuff, then a lot of the "first 120 days" b.s. could have been condensed into 3 or 4 episodes, to allow for the rest of the show to have the interesting stuff actually exist. Such a pity. |

@LN3000 They'd have to just do a Powerpoint presentation level where it's more narration and still frames, this was fast, but arguably, the content later on is such that they likely would want to focus on each chapter more versus cutting out massive chunks in this adaptation. Heck, the light novel has a sequel, they're going to the "Dark Continent", so presumably something bigger happens overall, though the fact they slowed down here works in their favor for future content, since there's a big arc coming up that'd introduce more of the Braves we had teased with the Bug Bone Brave |

@animefan8800 The pacing was likely much faster and had less of the world building and slow burn that TenSura did, from what I recall of the first season and onward. Of course TenSura suffers in its own way with constant committee meetings and such, especially since S2, but Re: Monster doesn't have as many of those overall, so the solution was distilling down what is a kind of dense plot to make it more digestible while maintaining the core aspects |

@DedPanda Technically can't he adjust such things so the size difference? Even if it's somehow proportional like a human, it'd probably not be that big (which IRL isn't really how it tends to be, though I forget the proportionality for land mammals. Humanoids, however, we have easily the biggest, though we're also the only primates without a baculum, look that up if you want to be confused) |

@Marinate1016 True, that parental role is expanded when goblins mature to being teenagers in the span of time it takes for a human baby to not be a conehead post birth and all those skull bone parts finally fuse |

I'm only slightly disappointed they didn't involve a little bag that Gobjii had, which when Aporou ate it, gave him super detailed info on various things in the forest area, basically the collected wisdom Gobjii had accumulated over years. He didn't eat Gobjii...though I might misremember, given how sometimes he eats someone as a sign of respect, but usually it's after fighting. Checked, they changed that part a lot and it happened much later in the manga anyway, so this is a case of adaptation evolution+ distillation |

What a weak episode, the show just kind of flopped over and died at the end. The premise of the story was really neat and I thought the first couple episodes were promising, but in the end it never did anything all that interesting or unique with its premise. The harem felt unnecessary and weird how every chick was throwing themselves at him, but I guess one point in Re:Monster's favor is the main character wasn't a shy awkward guy always freaking out or stammering whenever a pretty lady talked to him. Week to week I didn't mind it that much, but as a whole, didn't excel at much of anything. 5/10 |

Well that was a satisfying conclusion to Re:Monster. The consistent and rapid evolutions were pretty entertaining to watch even though their still shrouded in a lot of mystery. I definitely see how this show inspired a lot of other fantasy series like Slime and Goblin Slayer. Although as an originator of the genre it's a lot more gritty! I think this series will be the type that lives on in recommendations when people ask for anime with anti-hero/villain protagonists. |

@el_morris They arguably would need to wait a few years, since I think there were already enough chapters to adapt years ago, but the director and author may have really been hashing out the adaptation process, since there's a LOT of changes if you read the manga |

I kinda felt sad when that old guy died, but he lived a good life witnessing a massive change in the goblins he fostered. So, does this mean a second season might be in the works considering how they ended this episode?
@LeenPhoenixRae Some series end with this promise and just don't get enough money, languishing forever. But this one may get another season, even if it takes another 4 years, since I daresay there was enough material to adapt back then, but they were being very careful to make it something that could be in general primetime territory (the manga is much darker, though only rated teen 13+ by Seven Seas) |

@Teufel They toned down aspects, since I think the scene with Dhami training midway through had a point where her vampire powers kind of send all the girls into a weird nympho craze briefly, which Aporou quashes quickly and gives Dhami his blood to sate her bloodlust. The series is definitely distilled down, especially if you look into the exact point with Gobjii's fate in the manga, which happens much later than here |

That was quite the way to end things… Parabellum accomplished their goal and delivered the princess to the capitol city of Oswell safely. Afterwards the princess proved her strategic intelligence in her conversation with Ogrou, so she’s someone to watch out for in the future. That training session with Dhami was pretty damn quick. One intense training session and she’s evolved into a Vampire Noble variant and has gotten a true name, Hekaterina. That “renovation” was quite the site to see. I used quotations because they did too much for that to be qualified as a few renovations. And Gobjii’s last moments was a beautiful moment. I don’t know how he calls Agorou a terrible namer when his are just taking the first part of whatever species someone is and adding something random, such as “Gobrou” and “Gobkichi”. And then he ruined the moment with a boner. Lastly we got the Parabellum Mercenary Company Tournament in which Minokichi and Agorou get sentimental before their battle and we got the rankings of the top brass of the company. Agorou, Minokichi, Kanami (Dhami), Earthe, Bloodsato, Spellsei, Nekki, Fuuki, The Steel Knight, Goufu, Redhead, Genki, Dodome The Princess has also hired Parabellum for another job, and it seems something special is in store. I’m excited to see what is to come! |

The whole crew be mourning the rapist Goubiji, bet that D was wet with raped imprisoned captives' tears. The show concluded with quite the let down. Was expecting something 'more' regarding the whole gaining abilities and system-esque thing. It was prominent throughout the entire show, yet was never elaborated on. Which really just keeps you guessing, and not in a positive was, as there really was no conclussion nor ending. Now it just feels like it was some random spam throughout the show, which it really was. Maybe the system is 'god' or the 'gods' are administrators of a system or bigger universe. Could be anything really. But what was given was an open ending on a new adventure, whilst the show never really kicked off. Unless some rapey action be kicking off. It was a bit different from most harems, which I can appreciate, but I can't give this higher than a 6 and thats being rather generous. |

Not the best anime adaptation but still fun. I never got tired of it and I can see how the source light novel inspired the creation of both the likes of TenSura and even Mushoku Tensei. I am even surprised that this only got an anime adaptation after almost a decade but I suppose it being simpler than the aforementioned titles, it probably did not pique the interest of a lot of producers. Welp, time to switch to the manga adaptation now. |

well it might be another power fantasy isekai anime but i enjoyed this one especially after it used gluttony the right way unlike the anime "Berserk of Gluttony" and still cant believe he did all that in just 125 days thats not even half a year like its only 4 months thats just one winter vacation for me |
