@otakuweek idk about that, dumbass got mauled tryna wrestle a bear when humans invented specific tools to kill bears. seems like your typical naive boy version of what strength and masculinity is. at the very least with baki and asura they mix historical and well known techniques and martial arts theory with your overhyped dramatization.

| Nah, I was amazed by the fighting teaser where they compared RL stuff and animation, but the story is just lame. I dunno why these Baki style like shows are mass produced are so popular, but I wish they were not and maybe they could give stuff like Angel Densetsu a try. Still could have superb animation but with more focus on chars and not necessarily comedy, but something else from this narrative structure (taciturn already op char smashing another op char every week) This is fun in shows like OP or Naruto, where they have diverse abilities, but its just a snooze fest for me. I give it a try because the animation looked pretty good, but I already get why this just has a 6. something rating. And we all know MAL ratings are 2.0 something too high anyway. |
| Fuck, that Opening song is a banger, that main riff was stuck in my head throughout this episode, might be the best headbanging song I've heard in anime. Metal goes so well with pure fighting anime, was the same with Kengan Ashura S2 not too long ago. ED was great as well, cool little live action time lapse scene. |

| My guy beat a bear on a 1v1 lol. Jokes aside, Juzo was trying to hold back all the episode but at the end he snapped out. Him vs Ichiro will be hype! |
